The staff were extremely helpful - especially the wonderful Jessica. Breakfasts were tasty, enjoyable, and more than plentiful. Our ocean view room was well-appointed and just a tick above 'cozy' in terms of size. For awareness: There are 2 standout restaurants (Gastronomo and Casa do Bife O Galego) within a 10 minute walk, although the old town center is 25 to 30 minutes by foot.

Casa da Ilha has a beautiful, minimalist, and peaceful atmosphere, and the staff were very nice and kind. The breakfast room was cozy, and the breakfast was high quality, delicious, and beautifully served at the table. We had an early morning one day, and they thoughtfully prepared a breakfast bag for our room in advance. Free parking was easy right in front of the house or nearby. It is a bit of a walk from the centre of Ponta Delgada, but very easy to reach by car. We enjoyed our stay.
