Amazing stay at La maison Noir!

We loved everything! The area is very quiet and peaceful. The house is beautiful, clean, well equipped with everything we needed. I loved the little book that the hosts prepared with all the restaurants, places to check out around the town but also around Dijon. We found that super thoughtful and well made! We slept so well, the beds were very comfortable, felt like home away from home. We will be back ! Thank you

Cute property, Good location, but check the listing carefully

Wonderful location, clean and comfortable

Listing offered jacuzzi and washing machine. No washing machine and the jacuzzi tub was not useable. Booked this property based on those 2 items, as we have been traveling for weeks. Contacted host and never received a reply for either item.

Lovely apartment in winemaking village

Cosy, well decorated apartment in a lovely little winemaking village in Bourgogne. Freshly renovated and very comfortable with a full kitchen, modern bathroom facilities, comfortable bed in a separate bedroom and a small living room. Internet worked well.

No parking at the premises - but easy enough to find parking just down the road.

Great location and good value for money.

The location is ideal for cycling the burgundy wine route with great access to restaurants and bars.

The sleeper sofa bed is very uncomfortable and should be replaced. The bedroom and bathroom are very clean and well maintained.

One night in a wine cellar …

Very special place, like in an old wine cellar, but newly made, with many nice details. We booked on very short notice, but all worked flawlessly, good and fast communication. Unfortunately, we had not the time to try the big whirlpool. The place was good for one night as a stay over on a road-trip.

We were a bit surprised to see a very small door leading down the stairs into the room in the cellar. It was not super easy to get down there with all our luggage. Also, there was a humid smell when entering despite the dehumidifier.

Perfect place to stay once the sewage smell issue is sorted

Good location, good size and comfortable bed

We had a horrible smell of sewage from the moment we arrived late at night till the moment we left in the morning. It was too late to find another accommodation else we would have. The smell was so strong that it gave me a headache and that we left earlier than expected as we did not enjoy relaxing in the room.

Wonderful place that exceeded expectations!

This apartment exceeded our expectations. Even though we stayed for only one night, it felt a little like coming home already. It's very well equipped, tastefully decorated and the beds were SO comfy. The hosts (from a disctance) were very nice and checked if we settled in okay. Looking out the window you look out onto the Gevrey-Chambertin vineyards and stepping out, you can have a lovely walk through the village & vineyards. I would highly recommend this place and really hope to go back later this year or next year.

A wine lover's dream stay

The interior had been refurbished with nice modern taste and equipment. Location is just around the corner from the village centre, and surrounded by vineyards and caves.

The windows are only on one side of the building, so no breeze and the rooms remained hot in the evening. It would have helped if there were an electrical fan.

The flat is lovely. Recently renovated, full of character and quite stylish, and very quiet. It’s perfect for a family and felt very homey. It’s really well located, right in the centre of the village.

Easy to find and an immaculate accommodation. Very nicely designed and very cosy inside. Made a great change to our usual hotel stopover en route to the alps. The village looked lovely but sadly we didn't get a chance to have a good look around.

Very comfortable, with excellent facilities. Just needs a hand rail to get up the stairs.

The kitchen is well equiped, and the property is very clean and in a quiet area.

I was staying with elderly parents, who found the stairs quite difficult without a hand rail. I would recommend the installation of a hand rail to help going up the stairs.

A truly unique and beautiful space, with a caveat, watch your head the door is super low and you will need to be a contortionist to get in! Hosts v responsive, but really at this price should be providing the basics, coffee, (milk as it was Sunday and shops closed?) bottle of water perhaps? matches…so many lovely candles, instructions for jacuzzi bath and coffee maker. Drainage makes weird noises and tiny bath towels!ghgg Thanks too Apparently they could provide breakfast but we found this out after the cut off? Lovely spot for a big anniversary but lack of attention to detail unfortunately

An excellent halfway house.

We stayed at the property on our way down to the south coast and were so pleased with the location that we decided to stay on our return journey. Breakfast was not included but facilities to make coffee were provided. It is a lovely little apartment in a delightful village.

Pillows for the sofa bed would have been appreciated but I borrowed from the bedroom. An extra towel would have been good as there were 3 of us staying the night and only 2 sets of towels. Apart from that everything had been well thought out.
