Lovely exterior, great chateau feeling outside. Great location and access to wineries with a car. Great on-site free parking. Only one staff member on-site part-time who was friendly and helpful. Nice view from the room
This was an off-season stay and it felt like it. The common areas were only available when the receptionist was there, so they were mostly closed. Room was small, rustic and basic but needed a thorough cleaning. Dust-bunnies everywhere. I'm glad I tried it, but I wouldn't return

There is a nice swimming pool in the garden.
The bedding was not comfortable, sagging mattress, thin sheets, dust bunnies under the beds. The bathroom was rudimentary - no window, no luxury at all in the junior suite. There was no soap, apparently because the supplier had not delivered in time - they did provide a bodysoap when I informed them of the issue. The host was alone at her desk with her young kids manning the entry when she was attending to guests. Very informal. It gave us the feeling of staying in a youth hostel rather than a castle.

The location is superb. It is a very nice location with a lot of history. The renovation was done with a lot of repect for the heritage but still made very comfortable. The host was very professional and friendly. It feels like a very professional organisation in general with a lot of attention to details and quality of service.
nothing to remark.

Liked · Location, and stile of the property. Plenty of parking, nice grounds, decant size swimming pool. Could be fantastic if run properly.
Room wasn't up to expectation. Advertised as a luxurious triple room. It was quite basic and certainly not luxurious . There was a smell of drains, the bin in the bathroom wasn't emptied and contained a number soiled items. The telephone did not work, there was no information on how to connects to the Wi-Fi, no fridge, the cupboard was full of linen and other items. there was no hanging space. No one to contact until the morning. Breakfast was poor, no serviettes, food selection was limited and service was non existent. Breakfast Room was very nice.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The location suited us very well - just outside Nuits St Georges - and it's a beautiful chateau, with plenty of charm and historical appeal. The chateau looks beautiful and its breakfast room and the reception area are fantastic. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Breakfast was very good and had plenty to choose from. The room was comfortable and clean and had all the facilities we needed for a couple of nights. Thoroughly recommended.
It was a shame that the bar wasn't open on the two evenings we stayed. It would have been good to have a drink after we returned to the chateau from our evening meal.

We arrived at 21:30 only to find out that the reception closes at 20:00. No on informerend us. We payed but could not stay in the hotel. We called more then 14 times. First someone said that the receptionist is coming. Then someone said that we could not stay there because the reception is closed. Though we mentioned through booking that we arrived at 2100. Very unfriendly. Do not recommend staying here. Not ok.

Lovely old chateau still undergoing restoration. The one staff member we met on arrival was very nice and welcoming, although seemed to have many roles and duties. The breakfast was very nice served in a beautiful dining room. Able to meet the resident sculptor artist and view his workshop.
Poor wifi/internet speed. Understaffed on the day of our arrival which was not fair to the staff member, nor to guests.

Beautiful settings to take some rest from our long trip home from Provence France. Beautiful castle, we where welcomed very kind full by the owners, rooms are clean and quiet modern as they where renovated. Breakfast was good and correct for the price (15€).

Lovely old building and our room was amazing - the whole property had ancient charm that we absolutely loved. Enjoyed the open air swimming pool too

The rooms are really charming, the host was perfect and our stay couldn't have been better. We chose this place to stop for the night in our way to Paris, but we'd love to go back for a nice weekend out!

We just loved this beautiful place. Imagine arriving at an old fairytale castle a warm evening, having a glass of good local wine from the wine cellar by the pool - while the kids play in the pool and the sun sets behind the towers coloring the sky orange and pink. The nice waiter told us that Josephine Bonaparte used to stay at the castle. The rooms were clean and had brand new bathrooms, and the breakfast was amazing. We really recommend this place!

Pictures are completely different from the room. The room wasn't made, no air con under the roof, no internet, no food on site; the people working there didn't speak French or English; the owner on the phone could not have been more unpleasant, she managed to ruin a perfectly nice holiday. I'd STAY AWAY.

If is pretty special staying in a Chateau, our daughters loved it. The pool was a welcome relief on a hot day. the rooms are clean and tidy, we were offered a Charcuterie board for dinner which was lovely however there is no menu or price list. The lady at reception was lovely, very new to the job. There are renovations under way when they are finished it will be beautiful.
Again like most places the pillows are not great but they are ok. Everything else is great.

Beautiful 16th century chateau with lovely period furniture. Very pleasant park location, with opportunities to stroll in the grounds
The property is undergoing some renovation, but there is very little to complain about.

Our room would be ready on-time as planned, but even well before this time, we were offered the opportunity to either order a drink at the bar or to use the swimming pool. Reception was very friendly. Breakfast was also available and reasonably priced.
One should be aware that this is an old chateau under new ownership which is on its way to becoming ever better. We also booked and received the lowest category of room. While the room itself was modest, we had a terrific stay! The staff and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. The bed was one of the most comfortable ever experienced—comparable or better than any Westin or upper-end Hilton bed. While not luxurious, the room was very adequate, appointed with older furnishings which perfectly complemented the chateau. Quiet grounds. Overall, very satisfied. We would return in a heartbeat!

Simon at reception was very accommodating with us traveling and coming in late in the evening. Had a very spacious room and very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend this castle like stay for anyone that need to stop over.
