Casale Le Brecce

Abbiamo soggiornato presso il Casale Le Brecce e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente eccellente. Il monolocale è ampio, arredato con gusto in uno stile classico elegante, e dotato di ogni comfort. La pulizia è impeccabile e la cucina è perfettamente attrezzata, con tutto il necessario anche per la colazione. Il letto è comodissimo, sembra davvero di dormire su una nuvola! Presenti sia riscaldamento che aria condizionata, per garantire il massimo comfort in ogni stagione. I proprietari sono stati estremamente disponibili e accoglienti, sempre pronti ad aiutare ma mai invadenti. Un grande punto a favore anche per chi viaggia con animali: struttura pet-friendly. La posizione è ideale per visitare le meraviglie di Narni e dei dintorni. Consigliatissimo: torneremo sicuramente.

The shortcomings were too many to be able to like the place.

The description of the property does not match the real things. The property is not really a B&B, as the accommodation is a large loft above the residence of the hosts / owners. There were no other guests on site, and we felt like intruding in theif personal lives as well as of their children.. It should have been described as an apartment rental, especially when breakfast is not provided for daily and needs to be prepared by the guests themselves. There is no concept of a B&B. - The air-conditioning was not good, and the coolest temperature at 17 degrees and full fan speed, hardly made a breeze. We could not sleep the first night and on the second day, and following our various complaints, the hosts brought in a columnar fan to share between 4 persons. It improved the situation, though it was still not sufficient. - Upon arrival, we found a breakfast starter kit. It included 4 individually packed croissants, crackers and rusks, a small loaf of bread, a UHT packet of normal milk (even though we had been promised lactose-free milk), a packet of salami, corn flakes, a few sachets of jam and Nutella, and 4 eggs. There was no butter, no juice and no choice of cold cuts (other than the salami). The Booking.com description was that Breakfast was included, but in reality, we had to prepare our breakfast, and the quanities we received upon arrival were enough for only the first day. We had to buy the items for the breakfasts of the remaining 3 days. - Following our first night, we placed our towels in the shower tray so that they could be replaced by fresh clean towels. When we returned in the evening, we found the dirty and wet towels hung up, and after enquiring with the hosts, we were informed that the towels are changed every three days (to safeguard the environment). Given that we were staying there for four days, they eventually agreed to change them after the second day.
