Confusion over checkout however was handled brilliantly by the owner. It’s not having issues, because issues do occur occasionally it’s how they are handled.

Would definitely rebook

The house was so clean and well presented when we arrived. Lovely little touches that beyond the norm. There was a bottle of prosecco and chocolate waiting for us on arrival. The towels and tea towels and toilet rolls were beautifully presented.The house was well equipped for dinners amd breakfasts ( not that we did much cooking) amd it was in a lovely quiet area of town but only a 5 min drive to the centre of town.

Calm relaxing home from home, perfect for families and brilliant location close to everything

Everything, it was a lovely clean calm space to return to each day after exploring various beaches with the kids. It had everything we needed and more, James is a brilliant host and has thought of everything. The kids didn’t want to leave and were referring to it as home by the end of our stay! Xx

A wonderful place - clean, comfortable, close enough to stores and restaurants we were able to walk.

Ideal modern comfortable place to stay.

The house was very well presented, has good modern appliances, an excellent shower/room, comfy beds and a tidy minimalistic style that was very impressive. It is a semi detached house in a quiet slightly out of town street but a quick £5-£7 taxi ride gets you in easily or a brisk 30 minute walk. There were houses and gardens on all sides but we didn't hear a peep from any of the neighbours at all for three days. Great job James and Neil.

Hard to criticise anything and if I did I'd only be doing it for something else to write in this box so I won't be doing that...

We booked this accommodation quite late because our first booking let us down. It was more expensive but it was worth the extra expense. The accommodation was very clean and roomy. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The towels and bed linen were very nice. The welcome gifts were a nice touch.

The cutlery had wobbly handles. The blinds and curtains in the main bedroom let in quite a lot of light. There was no information about recycling.

Clean, modern, new furnishings, mostly well equipped. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water and heating very responsive.

All the teflon saucepans were badly worn and a health hazard. We complained, and they were instantly replaced with new stainless steel ones. Thank you, excellent customer service.

Lovely!

Excellent location, 4 minutes from town and not much more from the airport. Beautifully furnished and equipped and very clean plus lovely Prosecco and chocolates to welcome you! Clear instructions from the host for key retrieval and phone number if any problems experienced (there were no problems!) information booklet too.

We were blessed with exceptional weather and had a lovely stay at your beautiful home

It was spotless, a good size for a family, comfy beds and a lovely kitchen. We had everything we needed. The Prosecco and chocolates was a nice touch. The back garden gets the sun and there was a picnic table to use

A coffee machine would have been a bonus but there was nothing else I would suggest. It was a lovely house and I wouldn’t mind staying there permanently

Lovely quiet spot

Very comfortable and beautiful place. The drive can easily fit 2 cars no problem. It's well fitted out and the decent windows means that it's quiet. The sofas, chairs and beds are very comfortable. It's beautifully decorated. The prosecco and chocolates were a lovely touch. The location is good as you're not on a main road so only occasional cars come past and it's lovely and quiet. Only a few minutes drive from the shops . Also ensure you have the aurora app, we got a glimpse of green one night with relatively low solar output due to how north and dark it is.

There's beautiful furniture throughout, but some placemats for the dining table and coasters would have been helpful. The pans in the kitchen have seen better days, and there wasn't a sieve or colander to strain anything. Aside from that, the kitchen is well equipped. Be careful with the hot water, it gets very hot very quickly.

As I was born in Stornoway it was great to catch up with friends and relatives. I couldn’t fault the property at all, great location for us as knew the area well - the house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again on any return visits.

Fun, busy, noisy in the center city.

All the rooms had a window or windows looking out over the River Ness. The central location was amazing! The TESCO grocery store and wonderful restaurants were very close.

Each room had a very heavy door that automatically slammed shut really loudly. The decor was a bit strange, for instance the chandeliers in each room that you stared directly up onto the light bulb. Noisy location
