I've been staying at The Metro Hotel for several years now, and am always happy to be back. It is in the best neighborhood and makes it very walkable with lots of restaurants, and shopping nearby. It's close to both Alamo Square park and Buena Vista Park and being in lower Haight, you can walk to Haight Ashbury and there are restaurants and bars all over. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

Super safe location and nice decor.
No toiletries, no water bottle or glasses, needed extra shelving in the bathroom, and the room felt a bit tight needed some extra draws.
