My friend and I (both men in our early/mid-20s) stayed at Casa Loma for 5 nights. For the price, this hotel is in an awesome central location. Roshni at the front desk was wonderful. We had easy access to public transit and had an easy walk to restaurants and amenities. This hotel certainly isn't luxury- it's a convenient place to sleep at a great price!
A few more things to note:
-This hotel is along busy Fell Street, so bring earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper.
-There is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up a few flights of stairs.

I’ve stayed here a couple times before, and I really liked this location. It’s in a nice convenient location nearby Lower Haight. It’s by good reliable public transport, walking distance from the muni trains. Very nice neighborhood, clean, no trash anywhere. It’s set up like a Euro hotel, but with options of private in room bathrooms. It’s affordable compared to most of SF. I always recommend this place to all of my friends now that none of us live around the Bay Area anymore. The staff was friendly, the room was nice and clean.
