Clean, quiet, basic

Clean, quiet, comfy beds, plenty of space, good kitchen, close to ocean and the Westin. Staff was super nice and helpful.

No air-conditioning (small one in small downstairs bedroom), no wi-fi or tv (there is a network but no service at this condo), BYO toilet paper.

Very tired, poorly maintained, smelly, moldy unit - misrepresented (photos are from prior owner)

The location was good. This kitchen and bathrooms were fine.

This unit was misrepresented online. Obviously the photos were peeled off the internet from a prior owner (we found them on realtor.com). The furniture, decor and maintenance of the unit was not as described. The artwork in dining/living room was tacky and offensive. We mentioned it to the property management company who replied that they were surprised they hadn't received more complaints since they also found it tacky. When entering you are immediately hit with a mildew/moldy odor - the carpet was damp in areas. The AC unit in the master bedroom was dirty and would have been unhealthy to operate. When we opened the exterior doors to access beach items, they collapsed. All the beach items were in disrepair - torn straps for umbrellas, beach chairs, snorkle gear. Bath towels were stained and rough. There was vegetation growing from the rotten eaves above the terrace. Outdoor furniture was very dirty and tired. Due to the state of the unit, we were not comfortable using the upstairs lanai with the only view of the ocean. They definitely need to consider using a dehumidifier. When it rains in Princeville, it would be nice to hang out at the place you rent, unfortunately that wasn't an option for us -- we spent as little time as possible there since it was very, very disappointing. In short, do not book this place.

Superb

The location is on the rainier side of the island. We knew this from the start and we drove down to the sunnier side for our activities.

The smoke detector was missing, wires were hanging on the wall.

Very family friendly unit. Close to the pool and pretty well maintained!

It was very homey. They had many extras, beach towels, toys, chairs etc. The beds were comfy, rooms were clean and kitchen had plenty of tools to cook meals. Great pool area for the kids, although the pool is cold.

Upstairs was very warm at night time. I’m glad we didn’t sleep up there, but the kids were not comfortable.

I liked that there was lots of information in the guest binder about the accommodations. We were called ahead of time to make sure that we knew how to get into the room since there is not a check in office. The condo had disaster preparedness supplies.

There was confusion about a parking pass. We did not find one inside but were told it should be there and perhaps it was taken accidentally by the previous guests. No issue arose from the lack of a parking pass though.
