Woodlands Hare Chalet, Bideford Bay Holiday Park

Excellent value and spacious. Everything was clean and most of the things are there that you need for a short stay. We didn't use the park facilities.

The matress in the main bedroom could do with replacing or improving with a mattress topper so you don't feel the springs. The TV signal is poor meaning only a few channels are watchable. The toilet seat is wonky. No towels supplied which we didn't know. That meant a quick drive to Asda to buy a couple. Also we did try to phone the owners about the location of the chalet and the towels but both calls went straight to voicemail. Small gripes which didn't spoil the experience.

A really cosy and comfortable stay. The Chalet was very clean and we enjoyed the facilities at the clubhouse. We wished we could stay longer but will definitely come back.

The chalet was overall clean and had all the facilities as advertised (TV, microwave, hoover, hair dryer, etc). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was good for exploring nearby beaches and lovely scenery, the holiday park was good fun for our 5 year old.

The wifi didn't work for two days which we were not made aware of in advance and which caused a lot of inconvenience. It was a known issue but we were not told prior arriving. The chalet, albeit clean and tidy, had a very strong damp smell and we had to keep opening the windows. Unfortunately our unused clothes etc took on the smell which was unpleasant.
