A lovely relaxing location and plenty to do for the children.
The location is amazing, couldn’t have been closer to all the facilities of the site, in fact a better location than many of the chalets and caravans that are booked directly through the resort. So easy for the children, plenty for them to do, crazy golf, football cage, resort & swimming pool activities. Outdoor pool is heated so lovely in the rain too! Nearest beach is Bucks Mills which is well worth a visit, just gorgeous with the waterfall there too. I’ve included photos taken of the lawns and buildings directly outside the chalet so you can see how convenient everything is.
WiFi wasn’t easy to get in the chalet but we were aware prior to arriving and it didn’t bother us too much as could go up to the restaurant if we needed it. Other than that, no problems. Staff on site are all super friendly and helpful too. Owner was very communicative in the run up to the booking, with so many helpful suggestions of things to do in the area provided too.

Value for money.. enjoyed the objective..
We’re not particularly fussy about generalisation..but felt it needed a little TLC ..looked at bit “tired “ ..but comfortable enough for us “as a base “

Lovely get away
Brilliant location. Site is well maintained and lovely staff. Use of indoor and outdoor swimming pool amazing. Accommodation lovely, clean, comfy beds and location brilliant as right next to amenities such as park, swimming pool, entertainment and restaurant.

Terrible accommodation
It’s location
It was filthy, which I photographed and sent to the owner. He apologised but said he couldn’t do much about it other than organise a further cleaning. This was done according to him however when we got back to the property nothing had changed. I took photos and sent them to him. He offered a further night FOC which we refused and left. The owner said he lived 4.5 hours away so couldn’t do anything about it.

Apart from accommodation experience, & brin so far from carpark
Self catering. Too far away from carpark for carrying luggage, & grass was recently cut & grass cuttings everywhere.
The seating area needs updating, very low & uncomfortable. Bedroom OK & kitchen OK. Shower needs addressing , a deep clean & door came off & my husband needed to put it back on the runners. I think more cleaning around the runners would have stopped helped it run smoother. Perhaps investigate the cleaning. Plus flooring needs updating.

Great birthday fun holiday for my 9 year old.
Good value for money. Great location for day trips. This particular resort ( main hotel/reception area) is a bit dated but this did not affect our enjoyment as the kids loved the outdoor play area, the forest, pool and Battle Blasters. 20 minute drive to Westward Ho which is amazing. Great beach for walking , rock pooling and crabbing. Fun arcades for the kids and mini golf. Bonus…weather treated us well.
Evening entertainment was a little disappointing.
