Sylvie's Country Cottage North Devon

It was very homely. Sylvia had thought of everything. We did not have to worry about household items. Although we didn’t have young children, we could see she provides toys, books, cots, and other items for children. I loved the extra touches, such as the daily prayer guide, various books on the shelf. Everything was straightforward and explained, how to recycle and where to find everything. There was also a really nice garden that we used a couple of the days. It was a really beautiful cottage, the beds were so comfy, we felt right at home. Sylvie went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed. She included a telephone call ahead of our stay with tips on places to visit.

The only negative was the shower. It was not very powerful, could do with an upgrade.

It was a lovely and cosy place to stay and was fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved the thoughtful provision of milk etc to get us started.

The super little garden was 20 yards down the road so you had to leave the house to get to it.

Very comfortable, clean and cosy. The three bedrooms made it perfect for our family stay. Beautiful garden- complete with BBQ. Excellent value.
