Great Hostess at Les Suites de Meiz

Celine and her husband were very attentive to my needs. Also, when I attempted to return to Les Suites de Meiz on Saturday, I was diverted by the Belgian Police. They were facilitating the exit of the motorist from the Circuit at Spa-Francorchamps. They turned a thirty minute drive into an hours drive. I had to call Céline to come and guide me back to Les Suites de Meiz. She arrived with minutes. She turned a bad situation into a happy return to the suite.

First, the lock box that held the key for entrance into the suite I could not open. Luckily, my neighbor Jeremy helped me. Second, the television only had French television shows. There was no Dutch or German television programming. Also, the day of my departure, I could not get the heat to work.

Superb

Celine and Jeremy were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast option was generous for the price, and they also thoughtfully provided lactose free yogurt and milk after I mentioned that I don't drink milk. The room is big and with a lovely view over the back yard / fields, so you can watch the cows roam. As expected of the area, very quiet unless a car race is going on, in which case the proximity to the track is evidenced by the fact I could hear some of the cars from the room! A selection of beverages (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) are provided for free, and there was also a microwave and fridge so you can make simple meals. As someone who went for the 6h of Spa, I would note that Meiz is walking distance to Les Coombes entry point. This is the other end of the paddock, so depending on how much you are happy to walk or drive, this is something to bear in mind. There is also limited bus service from the train station to Meiz, so I will recommend driving or taking a taxi.

Zeer smaakvol ingericht en alle nodige comfort aanwezig.

We hadden een smaakvol ingerichte kamer (echt top!). Alle comfort was aanwezig; een volwaardig dubbel bed, een apart toilet en een badkamer met douche. De netheid was tiptop. De kamer was ook heel rustig. Tijdens het weekend hebben we de uitbaters niet gezien, maar op voorhand werden we hartelijk verwelkomd via mail en onze vragen werden correct en snel beantwoord. Hierdoor voelden we ons zeer welkom.

De matras was net ietsje te dun en het was jammer dat het dubbele bed tegen de muur stond. Dat was wat moeilijk om uit bed te stappen zonder je partner wakker te maken.
