Great location, super quiet resort close to the beach

I loved the breakfast as it was cooked to order (I am not a fan of buffet where everything goes cold!) Resort was very quiet and peaceful. View is of rice paddies and over the resort's pool which was nice. Beach is only a couple of minutes walk from the resort.

The bathroom is quite old and at times we got a hint of sewerage smell. On our last day we were out early and came back to a dripping air conditioner, so we had a bit of water on the floor. The staff were advised and I am sure it will be fixed.

Immaculate property, comfortable bed and pillows, great hot water showers and lovely swimming pool and place to stay

Sadly the flies were annoying making it difficult to spend time at the pool and dining, most likely due to being surrounded by rice paddies

Nice stay in Lovina

The swimming pool was definitely the highlight of this resort. The two rooms were gigantic as was the terrace balcony. The double beds were extra large and very comfortable. It was super peaceful and quiet, more in the rural part of town next to some rice fields. The rooms were clean and completely free of insects and mosquitos. Well-maintained. Wifi and TV were excellent. Staff were very friendly and they recommended an excellent driver!! :-)

The restaurant in the evening was a disappointment. The portions were small, it didn’t taste fresh and the meals were bland. We missed the exciting flavours and fresh fruits and vegetables of Bali. However, the hotel is only a short walk to many other culinary delights along the beach. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. Steps in the bathroom. Communication was a little bit difficult, but we managed in the end.

Sadly very much veiled by the soap incident.

We have been travelling now for 10 months, one of which has been here in Bali. It stands to reason then that we have some insider experience where hotels are concerned. Unfortunately we are not so impressed by this establishment and for us it has not lived up to the 5 star ratings that we see. We discovered, at reception, that our room is considered a ’budget’ room and although it comes with a hair dryer, fridge, kettle, bottled water tea & coffee, it has no soap in the bathroom. Brining it to the attention of reception, thinking it was an oversight, we were told that there is hand sanitiser only and no soap is provided as it is a ‘budget’ room. We found this surprising and most unacceptable. Have they learned nothing from the recent pandemic where we all know that most importantly washing hands with soap is of paramount and sanitiser is a secondary hygiene measure? We have never, during this long travel or other travels, not had soap in a bathroom. This surely a basic requirement. The reception staff was quite adamant with us that to supply us with soap is against hotel policy pointing out what amenities are included on the Bookings site. We were quite insulted by this attitude towards us over a piece of soap! Eventually, only after our persistence and after the staff had called the hotel manager who was “at an external business meeting” (Saturday evening) were we allowed two small (typical hotel) cakes of soap with the message “for tonight only”, fortunately one will do amply for our two night stay (additionally we were also given two sachets of shampoo that we did not ask for). Further, the hotel appears empty which does not lend itself to a good atmosphere. Staff seem understandably to hang around looking rather uninspired. It cannot be pleasant for them.

Lack of soap or the inexplicable reasoning from both staff and manager. The manager states that the blue liquid in the bathroom is soap, it clearly is NOT. I have worked as a nurse for 45 years and definitely know the difference between soap and sanitiser! It’s insulting.

Great service, nice and Clean pool, room was nice and spacious (we had a Junior Suite), Close to the beach, free table Tennis and 8 Ball, breakfast is tasty

The room was clean but not spotless, I would argue tho that we have a very high demand for Clean rooms, the breakfast was tasty but small portions and the included breakfast is only a certain Type so the "international" one is extra Charge - Not a Lot, maybe 7 Dollars/6 Euros but we think that is a little misleading when it states that breakfast is included

Perfect hotel met lieve mensen

Accommodatie was erg goed! Personeel was super vriendelijk! Ontbijt was heel goed. Het strand is 100 meter lopen vanaf het hotel. Aan het strand zit een erg goede Warung. De dolfijnen tour wordt aangeboden op het strand. Was een prachtige ervaring.

Ein rundum entspanntes schönes Hotel mit außerordentlich geräumigen Zimmern

Die Zimmer waren riesig. Der Pool war klasse. Die Lage war super, es waren ca 100 Meter bis zum Strand.

Es gibt keinen 24 Stunden Service. Ab 22 Uhr war die Bar zu und dann wird darauf gewartet dass die restlichen Gäste nach innen gehen damit sie alles absperren können.

ПЕРВАЯ ЛИНИЯ?))) В описании отель пишет - первая линия, пляж. На самом деле, между отелем и пляжем - два рисовых поля и три других отеля. Это было огромным неприятным удивлением, потому как отели в отдаленности от пляжа нами даже не рассматривались. Сам отель старый и не очень чистый((( Номер был темный и мрачный. Полотенца старенькие. Половина выключателей света не работают. Персонал не слишком дружелюбный, либо нам не повезло с администратором - два раза возвращались с пляжа и два раза она стояла рядом и КОНТРОЛИРОВАЛА, хорошо ли мы отмыли ноги от песка. Было весьма не приятно Завтрак УЖАСНЫЙ!!! Даже апельсиновый сок умудрились разбавить водой(((( Путешествуем по Бали много, такие отели имеют место быть, но стоят, обычно в два раза дешевле. Ну и обманывать с "первой линией" прям совсем не красиво Прожили сутки и уехали, хотя планировали остаться подольше

Schön ausgestattetes Hotel in angenehmer Atmosphäre.

Unser Zimmer war ein Superior Deluxe Raum, sehr groß und sehr schön eingerichtet. Raumausstattung top.Terrassenmöbel top. Belichtung top. Auch das Badezimmer war groß und alles hat gut funktioniert, wenngleich eine Modernisierung hier angesagt wäre. Im ganzen Hotel findet man sehr geschmackvolle Dekorationen, Gemälde, Glasobjekte und Skulpturen. Auch das Farbkonzept insgesamt ist hervorragend. Im Gemeinschaftsbereich gibt es einen Billard-Tisch, eine Tischtennisplatte, einen Lesebereich mit Bücherschrank, so dass es auch an faulen und regnerischen Tagen nie langweilig wird. Der Pool ist gepflegt, mit lebhafter Wasserbewegung durch mehrere Düsen und ordentlich tief. Zwei Delfinskulpturen speien Wasserfontänen in den Pool. Das belebt den ganzen Bereich, war aber auch etwas laut. Mir persönlich wäre es lieber gewesen, wenn diese zwei ab und zu ausgestellt worden wären, um die Geräusche der Umgebung wahrnehmen zu können. Am Nyepi-Tag zum Beispiel war wunderschöne Ruhe, und man konnte sich am Vogelgezwitscher und Froschgequake erfreuen. Die Musikauswahl im Gemeinschaftsbereich ist ganz hervorragend, Top für unseren Geschmack, in angenehmer Lautstärke! Kein Hintergrundgesäusel und keine ständigen Wiederholungen. Wir haben uns jeden Tag über diese musikalische Bereicherung gefreut! Das Frühstück wird im Poolbereich eingenommen, man hat fünf Varianten zur Auswahl und es schmeckt alles vorzüglich - (außer dem Kaffee 😉). Jeder sollte da etwas für seinen Geschmack finden! Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich aufmerksam, sehr freundlich und zugewandt.
