We didn't have breakfast at the restaurant, we ate lunch and dinner at the sports bar and the food was amazing! The pool area was incredible and the gardens were so beautful!

5 star hotel which we got for a great price as booked it same day. Staff were beautiful, breakfast, room, pool and grounds were great. They had a shuttle bus available at any time to drop off and pick up wherever we wanted to go (within a certain radius)

Most of the staff are excellent and really went out of their way to provide assistance. Also, the mei goreng at the main restaurant for dinner was excellent.

I think I missed something because my experience was seemingly not the same as everyone else who has stayed here… The air conditioning in the room was subpar, which made it difficult to sleep. The walls are thin so you can hear everything going on outside. The rooms itself are very dated. Could use new linens, tiling, curtains etc. The towels are clearly old too. No smart tv in the room which isn’t a huge problem. The hairdryer was so old and slow I couldn’t dry my long hair. It feels like a basic thing to have a working hairdryer in the room. The room service menu was really limited. There will be geckos, small spiders and other bugs in the room but that seems to be the case in most of Bali. The breakfast is just average. The omelettes and coffee were good but the presentation and hygiene of everything else concerned me. The fridge where the butter, jams and fruit were kept was broken and it was difficult to navigate the tongs to add fruit to your plate. Baked goods were stale or soggy rather than warm and crisp. In the end I did not use the dolphin watching service as I learned of the unethical practices involved in seeing them. So I spent my two days wondering around Lovina town. There’s not much to do but there are nearby activities in Munduk and beyond. Overall, from what I observed, this seems to be a place for older couples who have visited before or families. I can see why it would work for families with children as there is a pool and kids club. I was a solo traveller and would not recommend for solo travel. It was more of a resort vibe from the 80s and needs a major reinvention to live up to the price point. I would say this is a 3* at a push.

Beautiful ! Beautiful! Beautiful! Gorgeous hotel and amazing beach right next to the pool , beautiful evening dinners on the beach , we loved the live music also and the staff were exeptional! Incredible food and themed nights! Loved being able to use the paddle board and kayaks included too

Good location, hotel clean n tidy, staffs are friendly and helpful including the training persons, the communication officer is so promptly replying our question and helpful, we booked the spa for massage and is also very good. I notice that they do have some activities for quest ie basic yoga, rindik and decorate canang practice etc so it is pleasant for long time stay as well, you can also enjoy beautiful sunset, good food and live music at their sunset bar. They can also help to arrange dolphin watching tour, either in sharing or private boat charter

I don't think I have enough words or time in the world to rate a place so well organized than The Lovina! Check in amazing..they remembered us from a visit three years ago and were so welcoming. They welcomed us like family and that is what I call HOSPITALITY! The room was beautiful and had our own little pool. The interior was well laid out and the staff who cleaned it everyday just did little things to make it special everyday. The pool and beach bar was lovely though I would l0ve a couple more beer choices to be honest! The dining on the beach was amazing and the service was awesome . The servers made sure to know our names and welcomed us for breakfast and dinner like they had known us for years. Shout to I think her name was Nevan or something close to that...would hire her in NYC as she knows what service is. Food tasted great with plenty of choices.To be honest it was sad to say goodbye to this gem in Lovina but I will be definitely be back. Hope they keep the fair pricing because this place is only going to get busier!!!!

The hotel was in a fantastic location, immaculately presented and an amazing breakfast. Every member of staff was so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Amazing. We LOVED this resort hotel so much. Everything was so very welcoming upon check in - the staff were all so genuine and happy. We very very lucky to be upgraded - I have no idea why, I was just thrilled though. Our suite looked out over the pool and the ocean with a large balcony. The air con was super chilled, which we needed! The bed was huge and so comfortable. All the bathroom facilities were fabulous and spotlessly clean. Not enough coffee or milk in our kitchenette, but this was minor. Fresh water stations around the resort made it easy to fill water bottles. The pool was beautiful each morning - it did feel a tad too warm in the afternoons. The sea was refreshing and the beach clean. The pool and grounds team kept the whole pool area immaculate; with smiling pool side bar service. (My only criticism re the pool was guests that left towels on loungers. My thought is that if a guest has finished their pool time, give the towels back to the pool staff, so loungers can be used by other guests?) The resort sits a 10 minute walk into the main area of Lovina. There are beach warungs in easy walking distance. The resort also runs buggy/golf carts from reception to anywhere you want to go locally, which was so convenient and cool. (You just walk back or send a WhatsApp and they will come and collect you.) The gardens and grounds were lush and so very well maintained from dawn to dusk. The whole property was incredibly well maintained showing such a huge sense of pride from the staff. The staff all were a stand out to me: without exception all genuinely happy and smiling. They all had such friendly attitudes. There were a lot of trainee staff too, which made me feel like the resort was engaged in great opportunities for the employment and true development of local young people. The staff were all immaculately dressed in uniform , which indicated a great sense of professionalism.

Was gonna be a very nice holiday until i left the hotel and found out i forgot my facial cream in the room i stayed. Contacted the hotel right away then they just gave me very unbelievable excuses that they triple checked and couldn’t found it. It’s new and cant be bought in Indonesia.

How the operation here works.

The location of the resort, the beautiful pool, the Sunset bar and restaurant, and that the entire property was so well maintained.

There was nothing not to like!

The only thing i could fault is that the beach had a bit of rubbish and would be nice to be cleaned. They swept around where you sit but the rubbish was in the water and waterline.

The perfect location paired with an excellent, friendly, and attentive staff. I highly recommend a stay at The Lovina.

Super convenient for unwinding and relaxing. Really helpful with transfers and check in when our flight got delayed 3 times into the early hours. Good food and drink options, quality and service for me and my child. Staff all really helpful, kind and fun with my little boy.

The tranquility, the exceptional staff very attentive. The room upgrade was much appreciated and lovely ( it was our honeymoon) the food dinner and breakfast was lovely. we were even taught how to speak Bahasa by one of the lovely ladies at dinner. Thank you for making our stay so good

The aircon was not great in our room E14 and we had to park our scooter in the sun not where all the other scooters were.

Not really clear information About the free transport to the small city, they offer a free transfer and give some restaurants and then they charge money because it is out of the city

The resort is just spectacular. Beautiful well maintained gardens, with meandering pathways between the well designed apartment blocks and villas. Right on the beach with a lovely restaurant offering gorgeous sunsets. All staff are so polite and helpful. Breakfast offered a big variety of options. Our accommodation was the nicest place we have stayed in many years. Spotlessly clean, with every facility you would ever need, absolutely top quality. We would not hesitate on coming back to Tjhe Lovina in the future.

The staff were all amazing and the service was excellent! The room was very large and comfortable. The decoration was less typical of Bali then the other hotels I stayed in with no real charm, but it was very functional. The breakfast was varied and very good, the restauant on the beach was also very good. They offer yoga classes and have a compact gym. The facilities are excellent and the grounds lovely. The hotel is made up of a large amount of villas. There is a shuttle service was very practical. A hotel I highly recommend.

It was organized and really clean. The bathroom had a warm water option and the beds were really comfortable!

The TV was placed in front of the bed instead of the TV room and the beach was a bit dirty.
