Munduk Moding Plantation Nature Resort

Everything, from accomodation, staff was amazing, swimming pool, food, price in the restoran and bar. Bravo

- Beautiful setting in working coffee plantation - Our room was spacious and very nice, but the 2 other rooms we booked (same category) were clearly less attractive - Infinity pools very nice, could be a bit warmer - Staff was very friendly

- Room Jacuzzi was not clean - Restaurants did clearly not meet our expectations - Bali restaurant was good and excellent service - International restaurant very mediocre, expensive and bad service experience (service and food does not match the premium price).

Such a beautiful place with a with a real focus on environmental sustainability. It never felt busy and was peaceful and quiet. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. They make the stay so much more enjoyable. Always smiling and ready to assist. We stayed in the ‘Dadem Tree’ Villa which was like a small house, with its own private garden and jacuzzi(heated to 38 degrees). The bathroom was huge. It was such a nice space to relax. The food at the resort was of a very high standard too. The view from our room and the pool areas is stunning. You look west to Java and down to the north coast of Bali. If its not too cloudy, the sunset is spectacular. It does get a little cool in the mornings and evenings so it is worth bringing something to keep you warm. There were some great activities too. We took part in Yoga, Latte Art, local bicycle rides around the village and to the twin waterfalls. We are already planning to go back here next year.

Arrived hours of driving told no reservation, prove, then we check your proof; wait. Rooms not ready + 1.5 hours after check in time. One +2 hours. Majority bedrooms & villas only have partial view. At least one zero view. Building project next to my room by hotel, Resort Manager moved my rooms but didn’t mention and did knowingly. Banging and drilling all day incl. Saturday. Resort Managers approach to hospitality and guest experience; my rules, my way or the highway. My 60th birthday son and I not assigned rooms close to each other. The farm animals are kept in my opinion cruelty. It was tragic to see. Filthy and miserable. Recommend checking Bali Farmhouse how to keep animals in captivity.
