We loved everything about The Sunset Line
- View was breathtaking
- Staff was amazingly friendly and sweet
- Room felt so relaxing and comforting after our long trips in Florence & Rome in the days before
- The town is adorable
We did have one single bad experience with the train, but that was out of our control. However, when we were having train troubles I texted with the staff and they were extremely helpful with their guidance.

It's great when a place actually delivers on what it appears to be online. It's a small, curated, custom-built place. The cottages work with the surrounding landscape, and have extra touches that make everything better.
Our only dislike was that we had trouble actually finding the place once we got off the train. Once we got the lay of the land, looking back on the directions made sense, but when we arrived it was a problem. These seaside steep-slope towns are a challenge for us (and for Google Maps)
