A fabulous place to stay that I would highly recommend to solo travellers and couples wanting to explore Brugge for a fe

Great location, short walk from all the shops and old town centre. The room was spacious and had everything you need. The owner was helpful and quick to respond to queries around checkin/out. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and modern.

Hard to get my luggage up the three flights of very narrow stairs, but that’s typical of Europe. The radiator heater also seemed to be very hot (I tried and failed to turn it down), even all windows open couldn’t cool the room down enough.

The historical building made it feel so cozy and was so beautifully updated and maintained. It was so easy to find and in a perfect location to walk to the Christmas Markets and to walk the Light Festival Trail Experience. The bed was softer than we would normally like but having said that we found that it was really comfortable. Very good quality linens. There was also a small refrigerator which is really handy.

The toilet / powder room was in a separate space to the shower and I found there was nowhere to hang a towel whilst you are in the shower. Minor issue but could be a very simple fix. Not a dislike but be aware that there is no elevator in this property. Our room was on the top floor so my hubby to do a couple of trips up the stairs to get both suitcases to our room.

Check in was seamless, the property was spotless and clearly done to a very high standard. We loved how big and comfy the bed was, how warm the room was, and the fantastic bathroom. It was also in a great location, about 10 mins walk from the main square but the road itself was nice and quiet.

The only very minor thing was no espresso pods available but I’m sure if I’d have asked they would have been provided!

A great place to stay!

Super-clean, pleasant decor, large and well-equipped bathroom (great shower), great location (walkable from station and to the center but also quiet). Lots of info on restaurants/location. Large bed.

Would prefer a bathroom door that affords more privacy instead of transparent glass. A toaster oven and electric kettle would be nice.

A lovely loft. Magda was delightful and promptly provided on request kettle and fan.

Nothing really. But suggest that the description of the loft includes no air conditioning and the stairs are narrow.

Greta location, great place.

Great location, beautiful apartment.

A few difficulties getting in initially. The door code provided by booking.com is incorrect. When we called the owner there was some confusion initially and she put the phone down. When I called back she was very apologetic and provided the code which was after only a few minutes. Overall a fantastic stay.

Gorgeous Hotel in the Centre of Bruges

Beautiful property right in the town centre of Bruges. Bed was so comfortable and bathroom was lovely, absolutely immaculate as well. The owner was lovely too, very helpful, would definitely recommend staying here if you’re heading to Bruges, my mum and I had a wonderful time.

Beautiful and very clean room, with lovely breakfast

Excellent room, very clean, and beautifully decorated. Attention to detail was outstanding in every aspect. We had a nice stay, close to the city center, in a quiet neighbourhood. We also enjoyed the breakfast brought daily in front of the door, which was an excellent way to start a full day of exploring the city. We briefly met Magda who is a very kind and friendly host. Totaly enjoyed our stay and would come back in the same place with another occasion.

good location , with easy access to parking and the historic town. book in was easy and painless. Good wholesome breakfast set us up for the day. Tea and coffee making facilities.

At night time traffic noise due to car tyre noise on the cobbles outside. Also revellers being a bit noisy until after 2.00 am in the morning each night. it was hot while we were there, there was a fan , but it couldn’t do much. As a consequence we had to have the windows open a tiny bit for air circulation. we both got bitten quite a bit by mosquitoes which we weren’t expecting, not the owners fault just an awareness thing. Tea and coffee , needs refreshing daily, not at the end of a stay( customers shouldn’t need to ask) really comfy bed.

Absolutely wonderful!

It was only a short walk from the train station and from the house itself it was only another 10 min walk to one of the busiest high streets. The bed was the highlight of our stay to be honest, as it felt like sleeping in the cloudy stardust of unicorns :) It took me some time to get used to the transparent bathroom door, as the prude in me isn't particularly inclined to be observed whilst on the toilet, but the shower is just as heavenly as the bed. Magda was very friendly and lovely, and so in all we really enjoyed our stay!

We had some issues with the tv that wasn't working, but as we were outside most of the time and not big tv watchers it made really not much of a difference.

Nette Unterkunft zwischen Bahnhof und Zentrum

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, die Hauswirtin spricht auch ein wenig Deutsch. Das Dachzimmer im 3. Stock ist angenehm groß und es gibt mehrere Fenster zum Lüften. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Entfernung zum Zentrum und zum Bahnhof ist nicht allzu groß. Das Frühstück wurde zum Zimmer gebracht, es war alles vorhanden was man erwartet.

Die Treppe ist recht steil also nichts für Personen die nicht gut zu Fuß sind. Das Kingsizebett ist für unseren Geschmack etwas zu weich.

Top-Lage für einen schönen Aufenthalt in Brügge

Lage ist Top (fußläufig vom Bahnhof und zur Innenstadt), trotz Straßenseite eher ruhig, sehr angenehme Betten, 1 Fliegengitter in einem Fenster neben Bett, problemloser Check In über Code am Abend. Zimmer / Bad sehr sauber, Kaffee- und Teezubehör (1 Maschine mit 2 Tassen) auf dem Zimmer. Die schmale, steile Treppe zum Zimmer im 2. OG ist bei sportlicher Verfassung gut zu begehen.

Das Frühstück wird auf ein Tablett vor die Tür gestellt und muss im Zimmer unter beengten Verhältnissen eingenommen werden. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach (Gebäck, abgepackte Butter, Marmelade, Nutella und Wurst, pro Person 1 Stück Obst, 1 Glas Saft, 1 süßer Jogurt, 2 Scheiben Käse und Wurst) und entspricht nicht dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Am Abreisetag war es sehr früh nicht möglich, ein Frühstück zu servieren, obwohl der Bäcker geliefert hatte. Es wurde auch keine Alternative angeboten, zum Beispiel ein Frühstückspaket am Abend für den Morgen einfach zum Mitnehmen oder den Zimmerpreis für diese Nacht zu reduzieren. Die Unterkunft bezeichnet sich als Pension. Ein Zimmerservice war nicht zu bemerken (bei 4 Nächten) außer am 3. Tag, da hatten wir dann sicherheitshalber nachgefragt, ob die Handtücher gewechselt werden). In dieser Hinsicht hätten wir bei diesem Zimmerpreis mehr Engagement erwartet. Das Licht im Treppenhaus funktioniert nicht über einen Bewegungsmelder (das Treppenhaus ist schmal, steil und dunkel). Es ist von Vorteil, sich die leider unlogisch angebrachten Lichtschalter (eben nicht neben der Haustüre und Zimmertüre) gut einzuprägen, damit man sie im Dunkeln findet.
