Anne Boleyn’s Escape

Directly across from Deal Castle, the location was close to the beach and reasonably close to the downtown core of Deal. The room was not huge but very well laid out so you didn't feel crowded at all. Two chairs and a desk meant we could use our computers. The owner/landlord was helpful and available without being intrusive. The tea/coffee station was well stocked with beverages and snacks and was renewed daily. The bed was very comfortable and the window could be opened wide for fresh air while still being secure. Though it was half a floor down, the view of the castle and of the flower boxes outside was nice. The bathroom was very clean and functional and there were plenty of clean towels. The weather was warm for Deal but 3 small fans kept us fairly cool. There was a nice little fridge, which even had milk in it when we arrived. A working radio was a nice addition so we could have music in the evening.

Nothing really, though an extra drawer would be nice.

We stayed for a weekend in Deal for our anniversary coming down from London. Honestly couldn't recommend here more. The location is fantastic- a stones throw from the beach and round the corner from the best pub in Deal and the pier. The room was immaculate, great shower, very private and quiet.
