&HOTEL HAKATA

Great location. Short walk from train station, restaurants, shopping area and river. Breakfast was badic but yummy. Staff were very polite and welcoming to English tourists.

Has a kitchenette but no plates, cutlery, pot, pan or cutting board. Very small fridge.

Very convenient location, close to two amazing temples. With very helpful staff who helped make forwarding our suitcases easy, albeit the hotel doesn't have it's own forwarding service.

Room was very snug, but made us be unusually tidy....

Room for 4 adults was very small. Shower was the smallest shower we had in our 2 week trip in Japan (8 or 9 hotels). You had to order breakfast on arrival which was a choice of two things which neither of us would have ordred. No Vegetarian option. We chose the hotel because it had parking, we didn't realise you needed to reserve it, becasue it is not immediately obvious on the booking.com page, you need to expand the details, so we had a challenge finding nearby parking to take the size of the vehicle we had. Top double would feel claustrophobic, one side is close to the ceiling.

The location was good, it only took 5 mins heading to subway station.

The twin bed room was quite tiny, it hard to move in the room if you open a suitcase.
