La cabane, Durbuy

Ik zelf ben niet veel op het park geweest. Maar het huisje was heel goed en netjes. Het resturant dat bij het park zit was leuk en ze zien daar ook vriendelijk en het eten was lekker. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug op dit park.

We hebben geen tegen vallers gehad

The property was a cosy, relaxing and comfortable lodge stay in the stunning UNESCO area of Wallonia. The forest setting of the park was beautiful (and well maintained during the week by park staff) with the lodge set back and away from the main highway. The onsite pool, restaurant and playground were an easy short walk away from the cabin and all next to each other with very nice, helpful and friendly restaurant staff. There was ample linen provided, with a cooking stove and microwave too, we even received a washing care package for the kitchen which was a small but really helpful gesture when you're travelling for a long time. The downstairs living space was spacious enough for luggage, there's was a safety gate for the stairs up top which was excellent peace of mind too, and the lodge overall was private between park cabins, a very clever designed park overall. We travelled during a heat wave but the forest setting kept the cabin shaded all day and not too hot on return. The five minute drive to Durbuy was perfect for a quick sightseeing stop while offering an excellent location to the overall region by car (we didn't get a chance to walk but I believe there are forest trails from the park site, with the reception staff always happy and available to help with tips and maps). We'd happily return as it was the best place we'd booked on our travels across Belgium, the lodge and Wallonia in general were just beautiful!

The holiday park pool was indoor and heated which wasn't ideal in a heatwave but still more than many other regional places offered, also not a cabin issue as such.

Heerlijk rust, natuur, mooi zwembad, prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Genoeg te doen. Na een prachtige wandeling genoeg horeca te vinden.

Niets.

Trotz der Nähe zu den anderen Bungalow haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt/nicht gestört gefühlt. Der große Familientisch war top und auch die Matratzen haben uns gefallen - sie waren nicht zu weich.

Dass man keinen Schmutzfang vor der Haustür hatte und auch keine Möglichkeit, die Schuhe so abzustellen, dass der Dreck nicht in der Wohnung lag. Ein großer Besen wäre sehr hilfreich, für innen wie für außen.
