Great location, but...

Location was great in the middle of the forest. Layout of the unit is good.

Place wasn't clean. White sofas had stains and some of the kitchen utensils were dirty. The oven hasn't been cleaned for quite a while.

Great stay in a lovely house in a beautiful environment

The holiday chalet was nicely situated in a quiet corner of the park, so no noise from restaurant or swimming pool. It is a not very big but very well equipped and decorated in a cosy homey style, with a lovely terrace and a cupboard full of games 😁

It was a warm week and the warmth didn’t really leave the house, especially upstairs. The beds were too soft for our comfort but we know from our own experience that it is hard to please everyone in this respect.

Leuke gezellige woning. Perfecte uitvalsbasis om Durbuy te verkennen. Mooi uitgeruste keuken en goede bedden. Alles werkte naar behoren.

Trap is heel steil en draait kort, maar is onvermijdelijk in zo een type woningen. Voor ons was het geen probleem, oudere mensen zouden het hier lastig kunnen mee hebben.

Fijn, maar voor ons eenmalig

Huisje 68 staat op een mooie locatie. Je hoeft niet met een trap naar boven of om naar beneden te lopen om bij het huisje te geraken en daarbij je kunt de auto heel goed kwijt voor het huisje. Dit was een pluspunt! Je hebt geen buren waar je op uitkijkt als je op de veranda staat, je hebt alleen buren aan de zijkant waar wij totaal geen last van hadden. Dus wil je echt helemaal wegzakken in een goed boek op de (schone) veranda, dan is dit een zeer geschikt plekje. Verder beschikt het huisje over een moderne keuken en een mooie regendouche. Dit was heel fijn. Er was een ikea kinderstoel, buggy en een campingbedje aanwezig. Ook dit natuurlijk super handig. Op het park zelf heb je maar 1 wasmachine en 1 wasdroger. Tip: was midden op de dag, dan heb je de meeste kans dat je gelijk jouw was kan draaien. De speeltuin is erg mooi. In het zwembad is geen peuterbad meer aanwezig, alleen een groot zwembad die niet heel warm is. Wij vonden dit zelf niet erg.

Helaas kwamen wij in een vies huisje terecht. Net alsof er geen schoonmakerster langs is geweest. De keukenkastjes waren aan de buitenkant vies, de vloer was plakkerig en onder de dierenharen. Daarbij lagen er allemaal vlekken op de vloer in de keuken. De hele kamer was bezaaid met dierenharen net als op de veranda en de verdieping daar beneden. Als dit gelijk bij binnenkomst zo is en je moet gelijk de stofzuiger pakken om het een beetje op te schonen vind ik dit geen fijn begin van de vakantie. Dit viel enorm tegen. Ook vonden wij gewoon nog vaat in de vaatwasser waarbij er nadrukkelijk tegen ons is gezegd om dit vriendelijk op te ruimen! De matrassen liggen hard(dit is natuurlijk persoonsgebonden :))

Fijn vakantiehuis in de Ardennen

Een heel mooi en prima onderhouden huisje, goed toegankelijk op een leuk park. Het huisje was van alle gemakken voorzien. Top was ook de brasserie op het park. Ook het zwembad was netjes en schoon. De omgeving is prachtig. Genoeg te doen.

Het enige minpunt voor ons waren de bedden. Naar onze mening veel te hard waardoor de nachten niet al te comfortabel waren.

Heerlijk huisje, leuk park, fijne locatie.

Het huisje is goed verzorgd, licht en modern ingericht en heel compleet met vaatwasser en oven. Mooie lichtinval en een gezellige sfeerhaard.

Er is maar één ding dat een beetje lastig is en daar moet je wel rekening mee houden en dat is de trap naar de slaapkamers. Die is enorm stijl. Het is meer een ladder dan een trap, dus dat is steeds even goed uitkijken.

Aanrader!

Ons verblijf was fantastisch! Het ophalen van de sleutel aan de receptie verliep heel vlot, we kregen een kaart van het domein en bedlinnen. Daarna kwamen we toe aan het huisje en toen we de deur open trokken voelden we ons direct thuis. Het huisje was reeds lekker opgewarmd, zeer proper en er hing kerstversiering (we vierden kerst daar). De gastheer en gastvrouw waren altijd enorm behulpzaam en hielden contact met ons doorheen het verblijf. Het vakantiepark is ook goed gelegen, je hebt wandelpaden in de directe omgeving en het centrum van Durby ligt op wandelafstand. Een enorme aanrader, wij komen zeker terug!
