Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at this cottage. It was spotless clean, comfortable and had everything you might need. The communication with the owners was very nice and smooth. The terrace is surrounded by trees and bird chirps and just so peaceful. We will be back!

Magical escape with the kids!

We had a wonderful time with our kids in this beautiful little house in the woods! The house is very clean, warm, has everything you need in the kitchen (even a dishwasher). There are plenty of boardgames to have a fun family evening. The beds and pillows are very comfortable (rare for a holiday home). The owners were very friendly and welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine. We could enjoy our afternoons in the sun in the big terrace exposed to the south, where little birds come to visit quietly every now and then. The house is situated in a holiday park that consists of several similar houses in the woods: this is very handy with kids, because there are a lot of shared facilities that we could enjoy for free, like soccer field, tennis, pingpong, mini billiard, a closed and heated swimming pool. There is also a park restaurant, where very friendly staff serves delicious food for the whole family. From the park we walked to Durbuy via a 2 km path in nature, it took us around 1 hr with 2 kids. Absolutely magical. We will certainly come back!

Go for it if it's available, high value for money, you won't regret it

Such a sweet cozy bungalow. It is thoughtfully decorated, and it is decked with all amenities one would need for a holiday stay. They also provided a complimentary bottle of wine (which we didn't touch as we don't drink), but I believe some would appreciate it. There is a nice balcony for the warmer months, but even if you go in the winter months like we did, you can watch little birds come to eat from the bird feeder from inside. There are magazines, books, also TV with Netflix to keep you entertained. Also remember seeing some colored pencils etc. for drawing/coloring. It is such a nice place inside, and keeps you so comfortable, that you you don't feel like going out that much. There are also all kinds of kitchen equipment, pots pan etc. for cooking, though we didn't use them. I can tell the owners have put a lot of passion into making this beautiful holiday home and creating a wonderful experience for travelers. I usually don't write long reviews, but my experience inspired me to :)

Upper floor with the bedrooms for sleeping felt cold to me. Especially the first night. Perhaps it takes time for the heating from the ground floor to spread upstairs. However with the provided duvet, extra blankets, it was manageable. Second night onwards it was was sufficiently warm upstairs. Also maybe this is obvious to others, but would recommend to carry some house slippers if you can when you are going in the winter. It would also be nice if they provided a bath mat to use when stepping out of the shower. The steps to go upstairs are quite steep, not for old people or people with knee problems. The hand soap dispensing bottle in the bathroom didn't work for us, but I didn't bother to contact the owner about it as we had our own, but I'm sure they would have promptly addressed it.

Superb

Very nice and calm location, ideal for a relaxing weekend in the nature. The house was very spacious and well equipped with everything that you could possible you need. There is a super market in a 4km distance from the site, for some food supplies. Clear check-in and check-out rules, plus garbage bins to get rid of your trash bags at the end of your stay.

The staircase to go to the bedrooms is a bit steep, need to be a bit careful going up and down.

Kortom ‘WAUW’. Prachtige chalet.

Zeer vriendelijk en vlot onthaal. Iedereen praat er perfect NL. Alle faciliteiten van Sunclass waren perfect. Proper verwarmd zwembad. Zeer lekker restaurant met heel goede bediening. Daar ook alles in het NL. Chalet is ideaal gelegen tozv zwembad, receptie, restaurant De chalet: in 1 woord ‘WAUW’. Eigenaars van de chalet zijn zeer vriendelijk, direct reactie bij boeking en lang daarna. Zelf attentie gekregen bij aankomst. De chalet was zeer gezellig ingericht vr het eindejaar. Het was een pareltje. Er was ook vanalles aanwezig zoals: toiletpapier, zeep, vuilbakzakken, peper, zout, koffie,…. Zeer goed onderhouden. Mooi gerieflijk meubilair. Er is zelfs vr de kleintjes vanalles aanwezig: speeltjes, kleurpotloden, enz… Ook de aanwezigheid van een 2de toilet, is top! Kortom alles top. We hebben bij thuiskomst direct weer geboekt vr februari.

Alles was zeer goed. Maar als ik toch een opmerking heb, is het vroegtijdig uitcheckuur. 10u op zondagochtend vind ik persoonlijk te vroeg.

De indruk hebben dat je in een sprookjeshuis in een sprookjesbos gaat verblijven! Fantastisch !

We moesten rond 16u aankomen maar dat is ons niet gelukt. Nog snel naar de receptie gebeld om te melden dat wij er pas rond 19u30 gingen zijn en er werd ons vriendelijk gezegd dat er iemand tot 21u aan de receptie bleef. Geweldig ! Direct lakens, sleutels en uitleg over het domein ontvangen. De fakkel-snoepjestocht voor Halloween met de kindjes was super gezellig ! En een belangrijke als je met 5 reist 2 toiletten aanwezig in het huisje !!

Een nogal steile trap om naar de kamers te gaan. We waren wel heel voorzichtig als de kinderen naar boven of naar beneden moesten gaan... Zeker als er nog een nachtelijke toiletbezoek is

Endroit et chalet chaleureux . Juste profiter de l 'espace regarder et écouter la nature. Déconnexion complète en intérieur comme à l' extérieur pour le plaisir des yeux !!! Accessoires : tapis a langer, lit , chaise haute...et jeux dans le logement pour les petits enfants . Ce qui évite de voyager chargé. Confort complet comme à la maison aussi bien le mobilier que les accessoires du quotidien machine à café..."3" Les échanges avec la propriétaire du chalet. Rapide et efficace ! ........................................................... Le complexe en lui même: Réception : bien expliqué Bar: bien sympathique bon service Service nettoyage : correct Le cadre du site : sympa, le calme et propre. Super petit week-end de dernière minutes !!!

Zeer gezellige chalet in bosrijke omgeving. Er is werkelijk aan alles gedacht. Een ander pluspunt is de aanwezigheid van het zwembad in het park zodat je na een lange boswandeling nog even kan gaan zwemmen.
