Excellent warm and cosy accommodation with parking.

Warm and cosy, very comfy large bed, good continental breakfast. The location was perfect - parking provided and a short walk into Ripon. We loved the town centre - lots of independent eateries, and the cathedral was magnificent.

For a long stay, lack of a cooker might be an issue, but it didn't bother us.

Good location and ideal for a night stay.

Location and parking were really good. Apartment was nice and warm. When we entered the TV was on - not sure why it had been left on. Bed was comfy, kitchen had very basics for drink making and breakfast, so covered overnight stay. Bathroom clean and tidy.

A couple of minor things and having read previous reviews about taking shoes off to keep carpet clean - which I totally agree with - was expecting a lovely clean plush carpet!! It wasn't clean and had stains on it - I also took photos just in case our deposit was withheld. There was no carpet grip between the room and bath room either. If it is the case the carpet is being replaced fair enough. In the little "hallway" was also a plastic mat that kept moving and is in fact a trip hazard! Like I said minor things.

Great overnight stay in the centre of Ripon

Easy access, private parking space provided. Very comfortable and large mattress on the bed. Close to the city centre, but very quiet. Great range of things for light breakfasts.

As mentioned by others, there's a metal frame under the end of the bed which has sharp metal parts sticking out at floor level, that are not easily seen. My partner injured one of his toes on this, leaving bruising and bleeding. This thing really does need to be removed urgently or a new bed frame substituted. It spoilt an otherwise great stay.

Really lovely apartment close to attractions in Ripon.

I really enjoyed staying at the apartment which was a five minute walk to the centre of Ripon. Communication with the owner was very good and the information booklet in the apartment contained a lot of details about attractions and places to visit in the area. The apartment was really nicely furnished and very comfortable. The little extras in the bathroom were a nice touch and the shower was brilliant. The breakfast provided of bread, cereal, butter, milk, orange juice, preserves and tea/coffee choices was more than enough for two people. Kettle, toaster and microwave available to use in the kitchen. A brilliant overnight stay that was really close to the attractions of Ripon.

The apartment is small but was adequate for us for a short stay.

A lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable. Everything was so well thought through and the breakfast items and fresh milk to make a brew very welcome .Lots of nice touches and fluffy towels . The apartment is a great spot near the town centre but tucked away in a lovely leafly close.

Great little stay in Ripon

Accommodation was super clean. Bed was really comfy . Shower was the best in a long while and breakfast was provided. Communication was excellent from start to finnish. Can't fault it in any way! Thanks for a great stay:)

Great accommodation near city centre

Near to our family, lovely bed so had good nights sleep. Host helped us with bags.Breakfast suited us very well.Lovely quiet area. Thank you .

Had to go down some steps after parking car then short flight up to front door which we found awkward as mobility issues which is why we chose ground floor. However Sarah helped us with luggage etc which was very kind of her. Bit awkward watching tv.

A relaxing couple of days.

The TV. Very difficult to use. No obvious way to watch live TV. You need to change the metal under bed storage drawers. They don’t go under the bed fully so stick out. We both caught our toes on them , my husband’s are still painful. IKEA does plastic boxes that would fit right under , out of the way, so avoiding the issue.

Really nice apart from two damaged toes! Host requests a deposit in advance

It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our very brief work related trip to Ripon. The bed was comfy and the decor was warming. It was great to have a good selection of breakfast choices. Good communication with the host but we didn’t meet her.

I stubbed two toes badly (twice) on the piece of furniture stored under the bed. It doesn’t quite fit ! No other niggles at all. Just worth a mention that the host requires a £75 deposit in advance of the stay, which hopefully will be refunded. I’ve never seen this scenario before in Booking.com so just a heads up.

Right place for what we needed

Well appointed and organised apartment. Excellent location for Ripon town centre. We were visiting for a conference so ideally placed to retreat to throughout the day.

Excellent location, clean with a good shower. Very quiet but close enough to the town centre. Free car parking was a definite bonus.

The tiny tv. Very difficult to see when you have poor eyesight. The metal drawers under the bed. We both caught our feet on them more times than I could count and I cut the top of my foot on them.

Introductory photos lead us to believe there was a hob-top in the kitchen, as shown on the plan, also shown were a washing machine and clothes drier which we presumed would be available. Wonderfully equipped and set up with a wide range of choices for breakfast and afternoon tea. Very comfortable super-king bed with a selection of bedding. A sparkling bathroom with an excellent shower. Everything one could possibly want!

The apartment exceeded our expectations, and is a credit to Sarah and her family.

This is a beautiful apartment, and exactly what we wanted for our weekend stay. It was immaculate throughout. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed. Fresh bread and scones were provided, along with milk and orange juice in the small cooler. There was also a good selection of breakfast cereals, too. If we ever decide to visit Ripon again, we would definitely stay here. It is a perfect spot for a weekend break.

A small fridge would have been nice. The cooler provided wasn't large enough for the picnic essentials we planned on taking. But this was not a problem, as Sarah explained in advance, and we took our own cooler box.
