Our stay at Ajwa Cappadocia was nothing short of exceptional, made even more memorable by our time in the Nasireddin Mehmet Cave Suite. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt thoughtfully curated rather than transactional. The property is stunning, authentic Cappadocian architecture blended with understated luxury, craftsmanship, and an unmistakable sense of place. The Nasireddin Mehmet Cave Suite was a highlight in itself. Spacious, serene, and beautifully designed, it struck the perfect balance between historical character and modern comfort. The natural cave setting created a sense of calm and privacy that encouraged us to slow down and truly disconnect. Waking up in such a timeless space, surrounded by the unique landscape of Cappadocia, was a rare privilege. The service throughout our stay was exemplary. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, anticipating needs without being intrusive. Special thanks to Can, Merve, and Ismail, whose care, professionalism, and personal touch truly elevated our experience and made us feel exceptionally well looked after. Dining was equally impressive, with high-quality food and thoughtful presentation, reinforcing the hotel’s attention to detail and standards. From cleanliness to service to overall atmosphere, everything was executed with care and intent. Ajwa Cappadocia is not just a hotel, it’s an experience. A benchmark for purposeful, refined luxury hospitality. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful, elevated, and truly memorable stay in Cappadocia.

Gorgeous historical-style hotel in calm surroundings

The hotel is located in a very beautiful, calm area – ideal for people who do not wish to stay within the hurly-burly of the otherwise very touristic Cappadocia. Our cave suite was an absolute masterpiece and the attention to detail is unique in many ways. Once can clearly see the owners passion for high quality, craftsmanship and tradition. The restaurant and breakfast are very good and the spa also offers everything one can hope for, although gym amenities might be slightly expanded.

The staff at the reception and at the restaurant seems very inexperienced and barely spoke any English, which was really a pity, making communication very hard (this is, however, a problem everywhere in Turkey – but expectations are higher for a five star hotel). The check-in and check-out process were extremely slow and cumbersome. We are note in favor of separate spa areas for men and women, which results in a more limited offer due to redundancies. The location is slightly outside of the centre.

Unforgettable stay!!! Small details were attended to!!

Treated like royalty!!! Stayed here for 3 nights along with family and feel short of words to describe my wonderful stay. Our stay was made special with free room upgrades. The staff was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable!! Providing us with one free transfer to the closest town Urgup. Also we had to leave early by 3am during our checkout and without even asking the front office had packed our breakfast which was ready to go boxes. Special thanks to Omar!! The hotel is exceptional and the full premises is Alcohol free!!

The only downside side I feel was should have rented a car for ease to travel to Urgup, Göreme . But the hotel is happy to advise regarding available transport.

We really loved this property. The hotel was a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul city, which was exactly why we chose AJWA for its off-centre location. Despite that, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to nearby towns, so getting around was still very convenient. The space and design truly stood out—every corner felt thoughtfully planned, with so much attention to detail. The staff were exceptional, especially Ahmet, who always took his time to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Our daily breakfast was another highlight, thanks to our lovely waiter, Merve (hope I got her name right). The food was decent, and the service was superb. The property itself offers so much to explore, with countless facilities and enjoyable activities ranging from art and culture to outdoor and historical experiences. We absolutely loved our time here and would not hesitate to return.

Stunning cave suite and the hotel ground were fantastic. Very beautifully manicured and cared for.

No welcome, had to carry own bags to reception, impolite staff, dreadful atmosphere around the whole hotel. No alcohol served which was never mentioned anywhere when booking.

A breathtaking and inspiring stay

Our stay at Ajwa Cappadocia was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We loved everything about this hotel — the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the warmth of the staff. We truly appreciated the thoughtful upgrade and the lovely gifts, which made our anniversary feel so special. Although the hotel is a bit far from central Cappadocia, you never feel isolated. The property itself is breathtaking and has so much to offer — from a mini zoo and mini farm to a beautiful museum. Our favourite spot was the masjid and the outdoor ablution area in the gardens — it felt so peaceful and magical. The restaurant was exceptional, and every meal was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. We honestly can’t recommend this resort enough. Thank you, Ajwa Cappadocia, for an unforgettable experience!

The best stay

This is the best hotel in Cappadocia. Ajwa Hotel in Ürgüp combines beautiful grounds with outstanding amenities, including a private zoo, horseback riding, go-karts, a café with exotic coffees and desserts, a coffee museum, pottery lessons, a children’s playground, a gym, pool, hammam, and even traditional Turkish yurts for a unique stay. Its location is ideal, close to all the major attractions, making it easy to explore the region. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and professional. Head Chef Ramil stood out for his hospitality, giving us a tour on arrival and assisting throughout our stay with special requests, from arranging go-karts to coordinating egg collection at the chicken coop for our children. The kids loved gathering eggs, tomatoes, and berries from the hotel’s mini farm, which were then prepared for their breakfast, a truly special memory. Breakfast itself is delicious, varied, and included. There is no downside. I will always stay here when visiting Cappadocia.

Stunning hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Ajwa. AJWA Cappadocia is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at! The aesthetics of the property internally and externally is simply stunning. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was also good but not a huge spread! The coffee museum is a must do! I was very impressed by the equipment in the fitness centre and the spa was also amazing. Loved the Islamic ethos of the hotel and the musjid on site was lovely.

The property is a bit far off from Urgup town and also from Goreme m, with no shops/supermarkets or convenience stores within walking distance. The hotel has stopped offering free shuttle service to the town which is a pity as this is greatly needed given the location. The restaurant on site is quite overpriced with not such an extensive menu either.

Incredible stay & perfect for a solo ‘retreat’

Incredible stay and experiences! Highly recommend for a unique stay while near Cappadocia. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect - including knowing my name and dietary requirements, and driving me to my room from the main building (despite it not being a far walk, their attention to comfort and detail were top notch). The property is on its own - away from the towns - which meant it was very quiet and tranquil - prefect for a relaxing escape. I’m sure when the flowers and trees are in bloom it’s even more magical. The spa facilities are luxurious and the gym a plus. I was traveling solo and this exceeded my vision of having a solo retreat to relax and recharge. The bed, linens and selection of pillows are fabulous and high quality. The room comfortable and well appointed. The property is very kid friendly - however perhaps because I was there during Ramadan I did not see many families. There’s also some other unique features to the property including the gorgeous coffee museum and dessert shop and epicurean store. I would definitely return and highly recommend

Great place in Cappadocia

Stuff is super friendly and rooms are really big, facilities in the hotel are well-maintained. One thing to note - there is no alcohol served in the restaurant (for me travelling with family it was not a problem, but I guess some guests would like this option).

Great property. Very nice architecture and areas they have. It’s all about the experiences you can have there and history you can see. And orkhan the guest relationship manager is wonderful person, he would put all his efforts to make the guests happy.

Stunning resort on the outskirts of busy Cappadocia town.

The Gardens were the highlight to this property. It's a stunning and tranquil space with great attention to detail. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. It's located a bit outside of the hustle and bustle Cappadocia can have, but if you have transport, it's a short drive to the nearest town. The restaurant's food was delicious, and they tried to grow a lot of ingredients themselves. There's also plenty to do on the premises. I would highly recommend this space.

It was the best hotel we have ever visited, we went to a lot of Hotel chains around the world, but Ajwa exceeded our expectations! A really nice authentic hotel, first time but not the last one! We will revisit for sure!
