Apartament blisko plaży, na przeciwko sklep Żabka. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia: pralka, zmywarka, odkurzacz.

It was very close to all amenities

It was great

Central location, size of the apartment was perfect for us. A small misunderstanding about using the second bed was rectified immediately - very responsive host! The large table, comfortable sofa and full kitchen were excellent. The washer was also useful.

A few items we don't usually travel with - such as a tea towel, a vegetable peeler or a shower gel - were not at the flat, and might be nice additions to increase comfort. However they did not mar our enjoyment. We did not find the stairs too cumbersome but an elderly person or someone with a large suitcase might have.

The apartment was more or less as expected

Communication, or should I say lack of communication. The apartment is listed as a 6 person unit. I made the booking for two persons unsure at that time if our two sons wanted to come along, but did check what the price would be for 4 persons, additional 51PLN for the 4 days. After the reservation they decided to come along one bringing also his girlfriend, so now a total of 5. I then wrote to the owner if this could be arranged and asked for the price. After waiting for an answer for two weeks I wrote them again and they replied that it could be arranged but did not answer with the cost. To get the cost I had to write them 5 more times spread over 1,5 weeks. In the end they replied the day before check in. I was expecting a price of something like 2x the difference between 2 and 4 persons to cover the extra linen. Instead I got a quote of additional 1.164PLN for the 5. person which is 12x more than expected. This price started a long communication through booking.com chat and also through TXT messages plus phone calls. In the end it was agreed verbally over the phone that we would have it our way. However it didn´t stop the owner during the first evening from sending us additional one try to get their price. Really, really strange way to do business. Apart from the above, should you decide to rent the apartment don´t forget to bring your own coffeebrewer since the one in the apartment is malfunctioning, so that all the coffee ends up in various places, since the valve in the funnel is not opened as it is supposed to. So when the funnel is full it will just spill the rest of the water over the edge of the funnel.
