North Coast Escapes

Very comfortable and great view.

The hot water system was difficult to regulate and there was not much pressure.

We absolutely loved our stay at North Coast Escapes. The attention to detail was superb and the cabin really felt like a little home from home. The cabin was finished to an exceptionally high standard and was absolutely spotless, with an immaculate bathroom. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay had been thought of, and it was clear that a lot of care had gone into making the cabin welcoming and well equipped. We didn't actually meet the hosts during our stay, but the instructions provided were extremely clear and everything was very straightforward. It was also excellent value for money and we would definitely stay here again.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like about the cabin itself. The only disappointment was the Scottish weather! Unfortunately, it turned while we were there, so we didn't get the opportunity to make use of the hot tub. The only very minor thing worth mentioning is that the sofa is positioned directly underneath the TV, so you either have to watch television from the dining table or from the bed. However, there isn't really anywhere else the TV could sensibly go, so this certainly wasn't a complaint — just something to be aware of.

Location was very convenient and views were terrific.

Strong perfume/air freshener smell, however, we cracked a window open and this was very minor.

The location of the property was easy to find. The property was spotlessly clean, bedding fresh and the bathroom was lovely. We had a very comfortable stay, and considering how close the property is to the road, we never heard it at all. The grounds are immaculately kept. Overall we'd recommend and will certainly stay here again on our way to Orkney.

Nothing, everything exceeded our expectations.
