Here is a clear, strong but still appropriate English review you can post on Booking: ⸻ We arrived for a long weekend after driving 6 hours from Vilnius. We reached the property at 9 PM with a group of 5 people, expecting to relax and enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The hosts were completely unprepared. The yard had not been cleared all winter, and there was no proper place to park the car. The house was very cold. We were told that the air conditioner was broken, but this was clearly not true — previous reviews already mentioned that it had not been working before. There was only one small heater for the entire house, which was absolutely insufficient. There is a fireplace in the house, but there was no firewood provided. The host even asked a neighbor to sell us pellets. The whole situation felt like a circus. When we requested a refund of the large amount of money we had paid, the host became uncooperative. We had to call the police to make the host transfer our money back. After driving such a long distance and arriving late in the evening, we were left in a very stressful situation with 5 adults and no proper place to stay for the long weekend. Thankfully, there were no small children with us. I do not recommend this place. This feels like misleading guests and taking money without being properly prepared — especially in winter. If the property is not suitable for winter stays, it should not be rented out during that season. Very disappointing experience.

Perfect Winter Stay

We stayed here in January and absolutely loved it. It was a bright and coldest winter day, and the place was a warm and very comfortable spot to return to after being outside. This apartment is part of a charmingly renovated old fisherman’s house, so it has authentic Nida character but is modern, spotless and well equipped. Heating worked perfectly, the kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and the two bedrooms and living area were very comfortable for long winter evenings. Private parking by the house was also a big plus. Our visit coincided with the Stintapukis festival, and staying here was a perfect base for enjoying the events and atmosphere while still having a quiet place to relax. Check-in was smooth and communication with the host was excellent – clear instructions, quick replies and a friendly attitude made everything easy. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay even outside the peak summer season. It is authentic, cozy, quiet and perfectly located, and we would be happy to return in any season.

It was a fantastic stay in the most beautiful house of Nida! Everything exceeded our expectations, - impressive interior, small details showing the owner’s care and attitude towards clients, cozy fireplace on the rainy day. We really enjoyed the stay and hope to come back one day.

Romantic stay at the Heritage House in Nida.

The nice and very well kept heritage house in Nida. Is hard recommended for a family with two or three kids.

The kitchen door was not possible to lock. The manager came to close the door. It was not possible to understand how the kitchen door is needed to be closed.

Nice place, newly renovated, host very responsive. The place has a great potential, if well maintained.

Good facilities, but need some fine tuning, no manual or guide so you try to figure yourself how things work or where to find what, discovered the washing machine by chance. The person who let us in was gone before we even noticed, no chance to ask some basic stuff like WIFI log in etc. Cleanliness was unfortunately very poor.

Vorai! Namas netinkamas gyventi žiemą - viduje vos 11 C, per 2 dienas taip ir neįšilo!!!

Tiks jei nebijote vorų ir TIK šiltomis vasaros dienomis.

1. Trūksta švaros - visur daug gyvų ir jau sudžiūvusių vorų; 2. Nevalytas, smirdantis, varvantis ir apibėgęs šaldytuvas. Jo stalčiuje - krapų šakelės ir didelė bala. Durelės iki galo neužsidaro; 3. Vaikų kambario spintelėje pilnas maišas neplautų, plaukais aplipusių rankšluosčių; 4. Labai mažas boileris - nusimaudyti duše po šiltu vandeniu spėja tik vienas žmogus. 5. Vanduo iš krano negeriamas, baisaus skonio ir dėl to niekas neperspėjo. 6. Jokiu būdu NEGALIMA NUOMOTIS ŽIEMĄ. Buvome apsistoję 2 naktims, be striukės viduje būti buvo neįmanoma. Antros dienos popietę svetainėje temperatūra siekė vos 14 C, o virtuvėje - vos 11 C!!! Svetainėje ir miegamuosiuose yra oras-oras šildytuvai, bet jie veikia prastai - papučia pošiltį orą kelias min. ir išsijungia geram pusvalandžiui. Virtuvėje turėtų būti šildomos grindys, bet jos patalpos nesušildo. Šeimininkai labai mandagiai atsiprašė, bet viskas ką sugebėjo tai per antros dienos pietus atvežti vieną pastatomą šildytuvą į svetainę. Jis iki vakaro kambario taip ir neprišildė. Virtuvė su svetaine bendros sienos neturi, nuo svetainės ją skiria ilgas siauras koridorius, tad svetainėje pastatytas šildytuvas virtuvei padėti niekaip negalėjo. Antro šildytuvo iš savininkų taip ir nesulaukėme. Po tokių "atostogų" vienas vaikas gavo bronchitą:-( Savininkai sutiko šiek tiek sumažinti bendrą nuomos kainą, tačiau vis tiek už tokį gyventi netinkamą būstą, kurio apskritai negalima nuomoti likome sumokėję po 100 Eur už naktį!!! Pasibaisėtina, kad tokį apskritai nuomoja žiemą! 7. Įėjimas iš lauko yra į ilgą ir siaurą koridorių tarp virtuvės ir svetainės. Kilimėlio prie durų nėra, tad tarp virtuvės ir svetainės visada bus arba purvas, arba sniegas, arba bala. Jokio šepečio išvalyti tai pat nėra.
