Great location, just a short walk from the old part of Mestia. The rooms were very comfortable, with cozy beds, and both the rooms and the bathroom were tastefully decorated. Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly. Although the kitchen is not normally available to guests, our lovely host kindly offered us the use of it so we could prepare our breakfast, which we really appreciated. The view from our window overlooking the historic Svan towers was a wonderful bonus and made the stay even more memorable. Communication was easy, and Google Translate was more than enough whenever needed. We had two rooms and were the only guests, so we practically had the whole apartment to ourselves.

The only thing we missed was a few more chairs in the common living area outside the rooms, as well as a larger supply of cutlery, cups, and glasses. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Misschien een beetje te weinig keukenfaciliteiten. Een beetje ver van het centrum, bergop, maar prima ligging om een wandeling te maken

V tomto ubytování se nám spalo nejlépe z celého pobytu v Gruzii – postele nám přišly pohodlné, což jsme ocenili zejména po předchozích zkušenostech s příliš měkkými matracemi. Příjemným bonusem je i společná kuchyňka, kde si můžete dát snídani, připravit čaj nebo kávu. Při našem pobytu jsme měli zamluvené dva pokoje a třetí zůstal neobsazený, takže ubytování bylo klidné. Parkování bylo možné zdarma na ulici přímo u ubytování.

Je třeba si zvyknout na sprchování bez závěsu – voda je pak v celé koupelně. S tímto řešením jsme se ale setkali i na jiných místech v Gruzii.

There is no fridge and no kitchen so you can neither store nor prepare any food. It is about 1.5 km from the centre of town, which should not matter except that: There are no taxis you can actually call yourself- it's about someone calling someone, if someone is available. No phone numbers offered. So expect to lug your travel bags unassisted from this guesthouse into the bus stop in town. Hopefully you only have a trampers pack - if not, don't stay here. Pushing a child in a pushchair into town at 28 degrees, just to buy breakfast, let alone try to see the sites, isn't my idea of fun. And the unrelenting sun, when getting around like this, didn't do our skin much good. The accommodation is upstairs accessed by the kind of outdoor stairwell a kid could fall from and crash his head open. Unfortunately a VERY common problem in Georgian guest house accommodation - no health and safety regulations seem to apply in building construction.
