Awesome place to stay in a charming wine town on the Rhein!

We loved the Ferienwohnung am Entenplatz! We were two couples on a weekend getaway. My wife and I lived in Eltville over 20 years ago. Going back was magic!! We knew the location, especially the downstairs restaurant Piccolo Mondo where we ate one night and had a fabulous meal! What we liked most about the property was the location — a two minute walk to the river and proximity to shops, restaurants and cafes. The property was excellent. We loved how clean it was and how nicely it was decorated. There are nice pictures, comfortable furniture, a good wide bed, a decent bathroom/shower, and a kitchen that had everything you need while on a vacation. We also liked that it was easy to get into the property once you receive the pass code. It worked every time we entered.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It was a great place all around. We would highly recommend the Ferienwohnung am Entenplatz!

Clear cimmunicatiion from the host. Wonderful location and we had the room with the view of Rhein. Tastefully decorated room with everything you need for a relaxing comfrtable stay. Loved the fully equipped kitchen. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay.

Good, quiet location. Characterful apartment. Comfortable and well kitted out. Air con unit. Helpful host. Could leave our luggage in the restaurant after check out.

Excellent location, lots of space for relaxation, comfortable bed, provision of portable air conditioner in case of heat. Definitely a worthwhile stay.

Disappointing that there is no washing machine available for all units as nearest laundromat is 15 minutes drive away. Initial communication re an ironing board was excellent but when we realised there were no breakfast muesli bowls or soup bowls available, we asked about this but are yet to receive a response. If you wish to ideally eat breakfast there, you need to take your own crockery unless you eat from coffee mugs.

We love Eltville and Entenplatz!

Our apartment was on the 2nd floor in the attic and it was so cute and charming with all the exposed timber beams. A beautiful spot in a quiet location. The town of Eltville is so beautiful and I’d highly recommend a visit and stay.

Perfect location & very spacious apartment. Better than a hotel anytime. The owners were responsive and gave clear directions on how to get into the apartment. I will stay again at this apartment. The bed was comfortable!

Property with character, perfect location, well-equipped apartment and good communication with the host prior arrival

Wifi didn't work for us - not a big problem as we had enough roaming data and were not in the property much but maybe something the hosts should look into

Disappointing

There was information for 3 wifi networks, but none of them actually worked in the appartment we were in. This was especially problematic since we did not have cell-phone reception (Telekom network) in the appartment. Furthermore, it was quite hot in the appartment, and the Airconditioning didn't work, it only worked as a fan. We set it to cooling, but it did not actually cool the air. It was too noisy in the street to open the windows, so it was a very unpleasant night. The appartement was nice though, and these would be easy things to fix

Am Morgen wurden ab 7:00 in der Osteria unter der Wohnung recht laut die Stühle gerückt, wahrscheinlich wegen Reinigung des Restaurants.

Sehr schönes gepflegtes kleines Appartement mitten in der Stadt, perfekt gelegen mit aller Ausstattung, die benötigt wird! Ein- und Auscheck elektronisch, Türcode und Schlüsselkasten - alles Bestens :) Falls nicht selbst in der Küche zubereitet wird, ist ein Bäcker (Frühstück) um die Ecke, Bahnhof sehr Nahe und Parkplätze gibt es auch (kurz gratis und länger gg. Gebühr) - sehr empfehlenswert, auch preislich völlig OK! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wenn auch nur eine Nacht ;) Vielen Dank!

Es ist alles sehr sauber und die Leute total nett und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Es ist einfach ein echt schönes Örtchen mit vielen tollen Menschen die freundlich und hilfsbereit sind. Die Einrichtung ist total schön und es ist alles vorhanden was mann benötigt. Wir wurden sogar informiert wo mann Parken kann und wie weit es zu einem Bäcker ist. Einfach toll!!!!! Ganz lieben dank an alle mitbeteiligten!

Tolle, Wohnung, sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr liebevoll und stillecht eingerichtete Wohnung. Hat alles was man braucht. Perfekt gelegen in der Altstadt und ganz nahe am Rhein. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Im EG ein feines, italienisches Restaurant, schliesst um 22 Uhr, also keine späte Stö rung.

Die Lage ist fantastisch und das Apartment sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Restaurant darunter ist auch sehr gut.

Abends kann man die länger bleibenden Gäste noch hören, daher ist es vielleicht besser für Personen geeignet, die um Mitternacht schlafen gehen. Auch die Apartments rundherum kann man gut hören, wenn die anderen Gäste laut sind.

Schöne, saubere Wohnung in toller Lage! Rundum empfehlenswert!

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, sauber und ruhig, aber sehr zentral mitten im altern Ortskern gelegen. In der Küche haben wir nichts vermisst, WLAN und der Fernseher funktionierten super. Bäckerei, gute Lokale, Rewe, Weinlokale, Rhein und Burg sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Auch An- und Abreise liefen völlig unkompliziert.

Es fehlte die Tür zwischen Wohn- und Schlafzimmer. Wenn Gäste in beiden Zimmern schlafen, wäre es schön, eine Tür schließen zu können. Bei nur einer Übernachtung war dies aber auch kein Problem für uns.

Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, wenn man in Eltville am Rhein auf der Durchreise ist.

Uns hat die Freundlichkeit und Flexibilität des Personals gut gefallen. Wenn auch nicht extra ausgewiesen, war es kein Problem, unsere Fahrräder sicher abzustellen.

Leider wird kein Frühstück angeboten, aber das wusste ich auch vorher.

En perfekt tredagarsvistelse.

Stor våning i mycket vacker miljö. Tvättmaskin på rummet och bra kök. Otroligt vacker utsikt och nära till floden. Trevlig personal.

Varmt på rummet när vi kom. Om ni bokar rum 4-5 som ligger på övervåningen och det är högsommar, be värden slå på ac innan ni kommer.
