Charming apartment in a nice riverside location

Charming little apartment with a (slightly restricted) view across to the the Rhine from the very pleasant balcony. All mod cons for cooking etc. provided, including coffee machine and tea and coffee supplies. Great location near the river and with good public transport and station 7-8 mins walk away. Modern bathroom with shower. Nice and quiet, and everything in good condition and spotlessly clean, Very helpful host - who presented me with a bottle of wine on arrival!

Nothing to criticise at all - though be aware it is quite compact, but quite adequate for a solo traveller.

Super Schmuckkastle an Hafen

I loved it, it was very comfortable. A real super location on the river very quaint. The area was exactly what you would expect from a small town in Germany. The housing in that particular area is a mix of old & new with great character. SCHMUCKKASTLE is steeped in character with old wooden beams throughout yet very modern facilities super shower great cooking facility . Cant praise it enough. I think I hit the jackpot when I arrived there. The area is super super super. Loved it all. There is a bakery coffee shop vegetable shop imbiss pizza place all within a few short streets away. Apartment had a lovely little balcony. I was surprised to be greeted with a great bottle of wine. What a very nice touch and such a friendly warm welcome from a great host. Super place very clean & compact. You can also get lots of Ice cream within 20 metres on the beautiful river walkway. Plenty of wine also available in the area.

Great place

We stayed in the Stork Nest apartment with a view to a stork nest with 3 young storks almost ready to fly. Amazing! You could also see the harbor from the apartment. The tenants’ hospitality was overwhelming; they did everything they could to make our stay as perfect as possible. We got lots of good suggestions on what to do and where to go for dinner etc. We would definitely recommend this place any time. We stayed 3 nights and would love to come back another time!

I must admit I was skeptical of the 9,8 score of the “Schmuckkästle am Hafen” but it even deserves a 10/10 for someone like me who is a light sleeper and needs a really quiet place but at the same time wants to have restaurants nearby. The owners who live next door are of the highest ethical and human standard and have been extremely helpful with useful tips and recommendations. They always made time for me - even when I rang their bell in the middle of entertaining friends at home - an unsurpassable hospitality and truly profound friendliness! I can only recommend it highly and surely will come back again to this incredibly friendly, cosy, quiet and clean place which is just 10 mins away by car from HSK Horst-Schmidt-Kliniken in Wiesbaden.

Rundum gelungene und erholsame Auszeit

Ruhige und schöne Lage mit bestem Blick auf den Hafen. Sehr wohnlich ausgestattet. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft haben sich Störche niedergelassen.

Parkplätze sind in näherer Umgebung vorhanden, das be- und entladen war nicht unproblematisch.
