Great secluded location, 25 min drive to great coastal towns, we took the children to Quex Park which was amazing and about 20 mins drive. Wonderful setting, plenty of space for children to explore and be ferral! BBQ and firepit were great for the evening. Plenty of space inside the house and well equipped. Have to mention the fairy lights...such a lovely magical touch. Stan is a super friendly, accommodating host. If you are a light sensitive numpty like me then take an eye mask as the curtains are not blackout. Table and chairs outside and inside. Fans in both rooms to keep you cool in the hot weather. We will definitely be returning.
I did mention to Stan that I'd like to see some kind of fence around the beautiful natural pond. He's on it!

The location was so lovely and quiet, and the accommodation was cosy and had everything we needed. The grounds were more than ample, with a variety of wildlife and nature to enjoy wherever you looked.
There was nothing we didn't like. We will certainly be booking again.

Loved the location, the rural countryside aspect and the quirkiness of it! Stan was welcoming and chatty.
It was really dirty. And I didn’t find it very child friendly. Due to the dirt on the floor I was nervous about my toddler rolling around on the floor. Lots of spiders, cobwebs (which my older daughter was terrified of) and just really grimy. Some places hadn’t been cleaned in months I think. Stan was friendly but not very responsive to texts or calls (I tried to call twice when we couldn’t find the property). No WiFi and poor reception so didn’t feel fully safe
