The apartment was beautifully presented and the key was in the door on arrival. The location was great for visiting Exmouth, Topsham and Exeter and not far from the M5. Darts Farmshop is nearby which is well worth visiting. The family were very helpful in sorting out a small heating problem.

Very convenient location to visit the seaside, very quiet and well organised. Very helpful owner.

I would suggest accessing and leaving the property from the little village instead of directly from the main road as it's a very sudden turn into a tiny road.

Super clean, well equipped and a lovely outside seating area.

The cows on the farm were very close to one of our bedroom windows - bit noisy in the morning but easily solved with earplugs.

Great spot if you are attending the wedding venue next door! Whole apt was renovated beautifully and the water pressure was out of this world.

Great secret escape

Great find, everything you need, clean and perfect, quality bedding, towels etc, a fan was supplied as a very warm week. Hosts were fabulous, accommodating and entertained and over enthusiastic city girl experience a farm. Great advice for local places to visit. Great value and super location. We will be back for sure x

Relaxing despite the biting flies

The location was good and very quiet.

There were lots of flies which seem to bite. We did see a light/machine which we couldn’t get to work. The smell of farmyard which is to be expected as we were right next to the cow shed.

Relaxing, quiet, once oriented quite convenient.

Location was close to Exeter.

it was difficult to find the place since it is in a rural part of Exeter and Google maps could not locate the property. We had to use Google to get us to an approximate location then drive around using written instructions previously given. It's do-able. There are to ways to get to the place but one of them has to cross a stream which if there is rain maybe impassible. Use the turn-off at the Texaco gas station!

The location for Westpoint (and therefore the airport and also Exeter, Exmouth and Topsham) is ideal and it was also convenient for restaurants we went to locally in Topsham and beyond. It was much nicer being in a little apartment than a small hotel room, as there is an extra place to sit, watch TV, do some work etc. There is a small but quite well equipped kitchen to make food and drinks and it's all very clean and fresh. The hosts are on site and were very helpful when we wanted the heating turning on early, coming out right away to assist. The location is rural and pretty, but also close to major road networks. It's quiet and peaceful there with nice water from a borehole. It's the second time we've been there and we chose it over other hotels we'd visited in the region. We would definitely go again if we needed to be in the area.

It's a bit strange that there isn't a reception but our apartment keys were in the door so there was no problem. We arrived a bit early (before the heating came on) so it was chilly, but the host soon fixed that after we made a quick call. There is no bath but there is a good shower. The TV channels seemed limited but to be fair we didn't consult the TV guide and could probably have figured it out! The check out time is very early (9.30) and whilst this didn't affect us as we had to be out in the morning for work, I can imagine it would seem early if you were on a recreational break. 10.30 a bit more civilised! If you want a breakfast you'll have to make it yourself, but again, that wasn't an issue for us. There aren't many shops in the area (walking distance, I mean) so you'd need to be prepared.

Graduation stopover.

Clean and well equipped. Two bathrooms in the property which was excellent as I thought there was only one. Plenty of parking space, tables and chairs outside to relax on.

Very comfortable spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen and it was good to have the outside dining area as we had lovely weather. Great location with easy access to South Devon beaches, Exeter and nearby Topsham. We received a friendly welcome from our hosts.

An all round great experience. Highly recommend

A very well finished property. It was very clean with everything we needed with a lovely little outside area. Tucked away off the main road but still only a few minutes from the M5.

Although it's a quiet location, it is still on an active farm which should be noted. The hallway and landing lights are linked and motion operated. With small children, every time we needed to check on them or use or en-suite, we risked waking them up.

property well equipped. clean ,generally comfortable and quiet . owner pleasant and helpful close enough to places of interest and beaches easy to get to

the one thing that let the property down were the v uncomfortable seats in the lounge area,would do well in a waiting room. the large tv was high on wall so a stiff neck is the outcome. A shame as this let the property down

Nice apartment. Master bedroom with ensuite downstairs. Second bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Comfortable beds. Kitchen/sitting area downstairs. Kitchen area well equipped, in same space a couple of comfortable chairs. But not much space to comfortably chill. We needed it to just spend the night for which is was perfect
