Lovely flat in good location for beach, shops and restaurants. Comfortable bedding.

The location is amazing. It’s about 4 minutes walk away from Turner Gallery and 12 minutes away from Dreamland (all on a flat surface) which means going to the beach is very easy. We love going to Rise and Bun for coffee and cake. There’s a fan supplied which was amazing during heatwave summer nights. Some snacks and biscuits were provided. Modern kitchen. WiFi connection is very good. Flat 4 overlooks the square which is really nice to see in the morning! I was able to check in an hour early and as a single mum travelling with my son this is super important so I really appreciated that! They do make sure that you are ok etc. So that is very nice. My son did say that he would want to relocate to Margate so one thing or anything the apartment could have felt comfortable for him!

The property is very greasy. You wouldn’t want to touch the plug sockets. The sofa isn’t necessarily clean (perhaps detected some dog hair 🤷🏻‍♀️). Definitely some stains on the sofa. Some of the coffee pods expired in 2022. The shower is very small - I came with my young son so a bit tricky to help him. The damage deposit wasn’t mentioned on the booking.com page or anything like that at all. This is the first apartment that we have had to pay damage deposit when booked via booking.com. So if you have a specific budget for your holiday you might want to choose somewhere else because it has been more than 48 hours I still haven’t received any confirmation about the return of the damage deposit. A confirmation will be nice also responding to my message about it would have been even better!

The windows need an urgent update, some are cracked or don't work, the wood frames are falling apart. As they are old and simple glazed, the street noise is very audible. As are the neighbours walking upstairs...

Excellent location, super central, lovely views over the park and lots of light.

Bathroom is very small and I’ll be honest, quite smelly. Appreciate it comes with old buildings but feels like it’s due an update.
