Hypercentre lamartine 308

The apartment deserves a higher rating than the one it currently has on Booking. We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Communication with the host was very friendly. We arrived in Nice in the morning and were able to leave our luggage in the apartment earlier than the check-in time. The girl who welcomed us was very friendly, and although she doesn't speak English, we easily communicated. She also cleaned the apartment and all kudos for her. The apartment was clean, and had everything we needed, all personal hygiene products, sponge and dishwashing liquid, kitchen towels etc. Towels and bed linen were clean and everything was excellent. The apartment is in a great location, 3 minutes walk from Rue Jean Medecin which is the main shopping area and Notre Dame Cathedral. You can visit all the main attractions on foot. Also, the street where the apartment is located is not busy at night, there was no traffic and it was pleasant to sleep. The apartment looks like in the pictures, it is nicely lit, and the windows are large. This apartment met our expectations. The building has an elevator, which is an advantage that allows you to easily bring your luggage into the apartment. If we visit Nice again, we will definitely stay in this apartment again and we will recommend it to our friends. All recommendations for this apartment.

Everything was great. We would have only a few suggestions for improvement: hooks for towels in the bathroom, a small bin in the toilet and maybe an additional smaller cupboard for clothes.

- small but yet spacious apartment, big enough for 3 people - location was great, well located between the old town + beach of Nice and the main train station (good for daytrips to the surrounding towns) - small bottles of shampoo, body lotion and shower gel were provided as well as hand soap - key hand-over was very easy and the host very flexible (easy communication: our flights were delayed and we spontanouslay came later than first indicated)

- the kitchen was supposed to be "fully equipped" yet things such as cutting boards, a tea towel and washing up liquid were missing. Therefore, we could not use the kitchen as much as we planned to in the beginning (for a weekend trip that was okay, but staying longer we would have wanted to cook more ourselves) - AC was working well in the living room, however it took a long time until the bed room was cooled down - we only got one key (being with three people it would have been great to get at least two)

The owner of the apartment was very supportive and helpful.

I wish they had added more cleaning materials (toilet paper, washing dishes, kitchen paper, etc).
