Beyond Expectations

We met our host, Mila, via instant message and WhatsApp and immediately appreciated how responsive and thorough she was. Coordinating the key hand over and the apartment tour was effortless, and her super friendly demeanor made the whole experience even better. The apartment itself is spacious and cozy, and the listing description is spot on. We especially valued the washing machine, dishwasher, and the excellent heating system, which proved its worth during the unexpected snowstorm on 2 October that caught all of Žabljak’s residents off guard. The snowstorm also highlighted the convenience of the underground parking: access is effortless with a remote controlled gate, the space is generous, and the lift takes you directly to the apartment. The Wi Fi is reliable and fast. Beyond the amenities already noted, the apartment supplies toilet paper, a kitchen paper roll, dishwasher detergent, and cleaning cloths, plus a generous selection of tea and coffee that you can enjoy on the pleasant balcony. Just two minutes across the street is the Aroma supermarket and a small shopping arcade where we bought perfect shoes for the snow. The nearby Restaurant Walter served us dinner twice; the simple but excellent food and very friendly staff made each meal enjoyable. During our three night stay at Apartman Orion we enjoyed the residence’s tranquility and friendly atmosphere. A family with three young children lived just outside our door, yet we heard no noise at all anywhere in the building. The young couple gave us a friendly nod whenever we crossed paths, adding a pleasant, personal touch to our visit. Situated at the gate of Durmitor Park, Apartment Orion is an ideal starting point for exploring the area, and it gave us the perfect base from which to discover the park’s breathtaking trails and vistas. Thank you, Mila, for making our stay so wonderful.

A top quality stay

Everything is tidy and clean, prepared to the tiniest detail for a very comfortable stay. The host communicates instantly, in English, and met us on the spot. Kitchen is fully equipped: even two pans, three pots, a baking tray for the oven.. We even got dishwasher tablets for each day. Sugar, coffee, salt, oil for your basic cooking is available. Bed is comfortably high with a hard mattress. Both TVs are Smart and have USB 2.0 + HDMI 2.0 slots. Balcony has a big drying rack for clothes and two chairs with a table to drink your coffee with a mountain view. It has got a bit colder end of September, but every room has available heating with a thermostat. Parking in the garage is safe and spacious. 200m across the street there is a mid sized supermarket Aroma with basic supplies. Go there in the morning; come afternoon, most of fresh food is sold out. You can make it to Crno Jezero on foot with a nice walk through Žabljak. Otherwise it is a convenient starting location for all other trips to Durmitor.

A few hangers could be added to the bathroom or anywhere for hanging more than one towel. In the kitchen equipment, there could be some non-plastic tools for cooking, like wooden spoons.

Friendly owner. Do not affraid when you see police officer. At first I thought that I parked in not allowed place, but no policeman was owner of apartment. Our stay was perfect. Parking in closed underground parking, nearby shop.

Outside was cold weather and in first evening there was a little cool in apartment, but at night it came warm and comfortable.

Just perfect

If you come to Zabljak on the motorcycle definitely choose this apparetment: you will get big and safe garage place. Gas station and a big grocery store is almost under the balcony. Another big benefit is a washing machine!

I would suggest to use less bright and warmer LED bulbs in the lamps next to the bed...

Stanovanje je zelo lepo urejeno, čisto, na odlični lokaciji. Ima vse, kar potrebuješ na dopustu. Center mesta, Črno jezero, trgovine in restavracije so vse dosegljive peš. Brez večjega napora. Avto je ta čas parkiran v njihovi garaži. Žal smo bili samo štiri dni, se bomo pa sigurno tja še vrnili.
