Barton Cottage

Love this property - probably the best self-catering holiday accommodation we have stayed in. A beautiful combination of rustic charm with quality modern fittings. Peaceful rural location, private and secure garden, but very handy for the A39. Loved watching all the birds on the well-stocked bird feeder. Superb host who was on hand to remedy any issues, yet unobtrusive - just perfect - and excellent directions to the property prior to our arrival. Folder in the property with local information and maps. We plan to book again - a great few days away.

Lovely warm reception from Jane on arrival. The house was excellent with great facilities and a lovely outdoor space. Brilliant to have some basic food supplies on arrival, including coffee pods! Also appreciated having access to the shed to store our bikes.

One very minor thing - the kitchen scissors could do with being replaced as they are very blunt

Beautiful cottage is a fantastic location. Very well equipped and comfortable. Great base for visiting lovely Somerset. Jane is a great host. Could not have wished for a better to stay.

Absolutely nothing

Host Jane was exceptional she provided milk, bread, butter and a delicious cake. Property was very quiet and comfortable. Host was about if needed but unobtrusive and very friendly. I would say 5 star at a 4 star price.

Could not find a fault with anything everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided a real home from home.
