Comfortable, well-appointed accommodation

The location was excellent, and t was quiet and private. The property was warm and very well appointed. The barn conversion to accommodation was incredibly well done, and it felt like a home from home. If you want to explore the area, we highly recommend this place.

There really is nothing not to like here. When you arrive, you have to gain entry through the large wooden dates; that might prove challenging to those with mobility or height issues, but the big plus for us was that it added to the feeling of great privacy and security.

Lovely and cosy

Lovely location if you're seeking a peaceful rural break. You can walk from the property straight up onto the Quantock Hills if you don't mind a stiff climb. I spent three nights there in January in dull damp weather and found the stable suite very cosy. Lovely to return to after a day's walking, with lots of very hot water and a powerful shower. The kitchen area was well-equipped with everything I needed. None of the local pubs was serving food on the nights I was there so I was fully self-catering and was able to make some excellent meals using the hob and air fryer. I appreciated the outside tap and high-pressure hose for washing muddy boots and other outdoor kit. I would (and probably will) definitely stay there again.

Not really a complaint but thought it was a bit misleading to advertise streaming service (Netflix) because you can't watch it unless you have your own personal subscription.

Peaceful off the beaten track for a Quantocks stay

The views; the quiet and silence; good kitchen facilities for a small space: great bathroom; parking space; not too close to the other stable so you had your privacy; cosy for a winter break; location is great for all the walks / hikes

Bed was a bit too soft (due to the 1x toppers) A curtain or blind over some windows would help with light blocking and warmth

Beautiful property

Everything was perfect. It's a beautiful place. We were left gifts from the owners which was a lovely touch. The Christmas tree was a fabulous welcome .We were provided with everything you could need. Towels, linen, toiletries and a coffee machine. It is a bit out of the way up very narrow lanes so you need a car to get about. We had a lovely meal in The Carew Arms about 5 minutes in the car. Thank you for a fabulous stay

Fantastic countryside stay

Lovely location and accommodation, well equipped and nice and cosy. Had a hob and air fryer as well as the microwave for cooking which was great. Lots of nice places to eat and drink a short drive away. The whole area is beautiful lots to see, we'd recommend the rocking horse cafe just a short drive from a crowcombe for tasty food and baking!

Hard to get a taxi around there but EV taxis Watchet do cover the area

A perfect short break in beautiful converted stables.

Perfect location for a short break, within 20 minutes of both Taunton and the coast. The attention to detail was clear, with so much thought in to what guests expect / require. Would love to come back and would most definitely recommend to others looking to explore the area!

A beautifully presented cottage, will definitely be back!!

Absolutely beautiful cottage, so comfortable and in a lovely quiet location. Ideal for taking my little dog to as it was all enclosed securely. Unfortunately I didn't get chance to explore the immediate surroundings as the weather wasn't great .

The lighting was very dim, having only uplighter wall lights so reading or anything similar was quite difficult. Definitely a central light or floor lamp needed. Washing up bowl would be helpful and an instruction left in the pack up to advise that the outside light doesn't go off on it's own. All very minor points/suggestions though, not criticism.

Perfect if you have mobility issues and invited to a function at Crowcombe Court!

What an absolute gem. We were invited to a wedding at Crowcombe Court (2 miles away). TVF stable suites was a perfect choice as I have limited mobility and the layout is very accessible.

Beautifully presented and very clean. We had everything we needed. The bed was sooo comfy (slept better than when I’m at home!). Lovely walks right on the doorstep. Had a fabulous stay!

Everything was spotlessly clean with a comfortable sofa to watch tv. Excellent off road parking to come and go as you please. Well appointed kitchen with air fryer,fridge ,kettle,electric hob and separate freezer.Bathroom was a delight with a powerful shower and included body wash and hand wash.

Excellent stay at TVF Stables

Fabulous, modern dog-friendly accommodation in a very quiet little village. Beautifully converted, very comfortable with everything you could need. Bathroom and kitchenette well equipped and freezer and extra bits (barbecue, ice, extra chairs etc) in a little shed joined to property. A quiet and relaxing base to explore the local countryside and beaches. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic stables with everything that is needed to make a comfortable stay. Amazing beautiful and peaceful location in the middle of the lovely Quantock Hills. So super responsive and attentive staff. Always on hand to help. We will definitely be back once again.

Quiet and comfortable stay in the beautiful Quantock hills.

We had a great stay at TVF Stables Suites. There are just two converted stables on this incredibly quiet and peaceful property. The apartment is private, comfortable, well equipped, and the perfect size for a couple. The apartment was spotlessly clean and equipped with high quality soaps and lotion which we greatly appreciated. The location is ideal for walking the beautiful Quantock hills. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay!

A lovely stay

We had a lovely stay, the stable is beautifully designed and decorated. The little kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The shower was lovely and powerful and the bed was so comfortable! The location is lovely, very quiet and secluded but close to nice walks, wild ponies and beaches. Everything was spotlessly clean and you can tell a lot of care and thought has gone into making it a comfortable stay and a home away from home.

The WiFi signal wasn't great and we had absolutely no phone signal which meant we had to rely on the WiFi which wasn't always strong enough to connect to. Not a major issue though and everything else was perfect!

No WiFi signal is really bad so the tv buffers ! I couldn’t find the property at first google maps couldn’t take me straight to property! The roads in and out are extremely tight and in the winter I would have thought you could get easily be stranded without a 4x4 !

Beautiful autumn retreat

The location is beautiful! I saw deer roaming in the field behind and some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets I've ever seen. The bed was so comfortable and the place had everything I needed for the week! Lovely bathroom, easy-to-use kitchen, plenty of space for parking. I'd definitely stay here again.

A unique and wonderful location for walks and not far from the coast.

Location was wonderful so many walks as the property is so close to the footpaths to the steep Quantocks hills. Great if you love walking and particularly hill walking. It was private and secure. The decor was great, nice and comfortable . The bed was lovely, shower amazing. Quiet and relaxing. Like the toiletries we had available.

I found the stools a bit high for me in the kitchen area. The like the concept of the table where it was, Wish there had been a washing machine. A lot of flys so keep the windows and door closed if you go in the warmer months to mid October when we went.

Amazing location and cosy atmosphere 🥰 everything spotless and the bed is extremely comfortable 👍 it was amazing that we found salt, pepper, and sugar in the kitchen, and butter with milk too 🥰 very calm atmosphere, and coffee is amazingly delicious ☕️ the art of the owner Sally is stunning and i m impressed of her talent a lot ❤️ definitely return on December 🥰
