The Byre

We loved the location. Very quiet and picturesque. The hot tub was amazing.

The bins had not been emptied out side, which in turn meant there were a lot of flies around. There were lots of flies inside the property which we very annoying. Although there were citronella candles on the table as no one in our party smokes we could not light them as we had no lighter or matches. If we had needed to light the fire we could not have done either. The rest of the property was well stocked but could have done with some smaller Pyrex bowls to put things such as salad into.

The location was perfect for what we required. The cottage was cozy and clean. The Host provided clear instructions for arrival, helpful how-to's for the appliances (American learning British ways). Everything worked and it made our stay very pleasant. It was lovely to have somewhere to call "Home" while we were in the area. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a remote option with no fuss.

The location was lovely the cottage even tho it needed some work but we loved it the hot tub was perfect and the view from the tub was fantastic.

Nothing really bad the showers need up dating and the one needs to be bigger.

Very clean, comfortable, and private. All basic requirements like toilet paper, cleaning products, cooking requirements, bin bags etc were provided. Exceptional views and hot tub. Very comfortable beds and bedding. A truly relaxing place to be. Location also great next to the western canal for walks and runs on flat paths.
