Great location, excellent comfortable room. Dinner was exceptional and very reasonable price.
Other thing I would mention is to have a better drink and biscuit selection in the rooms. Felt a little Premier inn.

Beautiful location and very peaceful. Perfect place for a wedding locally.
The website states that an "exceptional" breakfast is included, but this is just a continental breakfast. To get a full English would have been £28 extra for a couple.
I feel most people would expect this to be a standard offering so we were a bit disappointment.

Lovely old building of character. Great location in the countryside and interesting history with the water wheel. Very relaxing and quiet with walking from the house into the Quantocks. Friendly and efficient waiting staff, good service. Beds comfortable. Very good meals provided in the evening.
Room a little disappointing with no bottled water, limited drinks selection, TV in wrong position and could be cold as listed building (?) so no double glazing. Breakfast generally good - no side plates left on tables so nowhere to put 'debris' from eating. More fresh fruit like berries would be nice. No bills provided after evening meals.
Booking.com price much higher than booking direct so disappointed with Booking.com!

The location is out of this world. The hotel is set in an old mill and a beautiful stream runs by. Listening to the water flowing by whilst in the room was such a beautiful treat. Surrounding the hotel are lovely walks, rivers, hills. As this is a dedicated nature reserve, no phone masts anywhere therefore be prepared not to have a good mobile phone signal
The shower was unfortunately not to my liking. Very weak in our room and then would not get hot. We spoke to the staff who helped us get ready in another room. But the ordeal of having a body covered in soap and hair with shampoo, and having to request the shower to be repaired/new shower was less than desirable.
