Assisi Garden Suite

Everything was nice. Will book again. Nice location wondetful hosts and apartment.

Did not want to leave, had a nice stay.

Splendid location in the center of Assisi with a terrace view on the valley. Very quiet location. Great flat - huge thick traditional walls. Loved the bathroom hidden behind a "secret" bookshelf door. Last but not least Roberto is an incredible and friendly host ! He even drove us back to the train station so we did not have to wait for a bus.

Bath/Shower could be refreshed with a coat of paint - but really not an issue :-)

We loved our stay at the Assisi Garden Suite in a great location just inside the Porta Nuova of Assisi. It is a spacious apartment (really a very big studio) on the ground floor of a medieval building, and has been nicely modernised though it maintains the original vaulted ceilings. It has the unusual feature of a well maintained totally enclosed private garden which is a huge plus for dog owners like us, with the additional bonus of a great view to the valley below. We were travelling with a lot of luggage so it was nice to be able to off-load this from our car in front of the house, even though it is within the Assisi ZTL (after this we parked the car in the nearby Porta Nuevo parking garage, easily accessible to the apartment via an escalator). The apartment is well equipped with good wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable memory foam mattress bed and masses of hanging space. Rita who greeted us could not have been nicer or more helpful and was also really welcoming to our large dog! Thoroughly recommended.

Facilities and location

I liked everything from the moment I got off the bus to be greeted by Rita to my departure twelve days later when I met Roberto. They are very special people. I loved the apartment which had all the amenities you could possibly need and everything was clean and of good quality. A very spacious apartment and the fabulous garden with valley views was situated in a quiet corner of town but still most things were just a short walk away. Supermarket was less than five minutes away and bus stop about one minute. Assisi is a special place and so is this apartment.

Find it impossible to dislike anything about this booking.

Superb place with gorgeous little garden with sunset view. Location just inside the town walls but away from tourist crowds. Great walks from the property in and around beautiful Assisi. The owner is lovely with nothing too much trouble. Having stayed in a variety of accommodations in Assisi, all of which were good, this is the best by far.

Besides Rita and Roberto being very thoughtful and accommodating hosts Their apartment was wonderful. Quiet, lovely, beautiful view, clean, great location.
