The place provided privacy that was much needed for my family. There was also just some nice peace and quiet with a great view of the animals. The staff was helpful with regards to issues faced beyond their control.
Load shedding is the norm of South Africa however i would have appreciated the place to have a back up on generator, or solar or battery to cover for lights. We ran out of water as the pump got damaged - this is unforeseen issues though

we loved everything about the property, the house is super clean, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that’s needed in the kitchen, their yard is well maintained. The staff is friendly and they were always available to assist us whenever we need them. The outside shower was perfect
The only thing that was a let down was the size of the pool, it’s too small and also the tap in one of the chalet was dripping and also that they don’t bring in new towels , we only got 2 towels per room for the entire stay.

No backup generator for load shedding. The stove not working so nice, and the gas stove also not working.
