Rustic Unique - Bush Glamping & Guest House Retreat

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay, surrounded by beautiful nature. The room was spacious, the bed super comfortable and the shower was amazing. Derrick was such a friendly, welcoming host. A perfect spot to relax, unwind and escape the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend 👌

Just got back from a glamping experience with my husband and two children. The place is right next to a lion park, and honestly, I'm still buzzing about it. There's something wild (pun intended) about drifting off to sleep and hearing actual lions roaring in the distance. It sounds terrifying on paper, but it was honestly one of the coolest experience of the whole trip. The tent itself was way nicer and cleaner than I expected. It had a proper bed, a little deck out front where we sat with coffee in the evening watching the sun set over the bush. I also liked the bathroom and open shower setup; it gave that “out-in-the wilderness feeling”. It's got that "roughing it" vibe without actually roughing it, which is exactly what I was after. The owner, Derrick, was lovely and accommodating; he gave us a heads-up on the best times to go hiking, also offered for us to extend our check-out time. The kids adored Derrick’s dogs, especially Raven; she was so gentle with the kids. I really liked that the phone signal was a bit patchy, but honestly, that kind of added to the whole "unplug and just be present" feel of the place. Would 100% go back. If you want a bit of adventure without giving up your creature comforts, this is the spot. Oh, and do not leave without trying the hammock.

The place itself was very magical and provided all the needs I required from a camping trip (hiking, bon fire, splash pool and great guests that joined in our little fun). Derrick went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Thank you for the five star service! 😁

Our stay can only be described with the word "magical". This may sound like an exaggeration, but it is true. We spent a very rainy, windy, and stormy weekend herr and had the best time. We were well sheltered from the elements, yet still immersed by them and I am so glad we did not cancel our trip because of the weather forecast. Derrick was an incredible host - he respected our privacy greatly while also ensuring we had everything we needed. I very highly reccomend Rustic Unique.

I'm trying very hard to think of something I didn't like - but this place really was perfect.
