A perfect spot to explore ancient Bourges

Unique property in the heart of Bourges mediaeval town and a stones throw from the cathedral. Very easy parking minutes from the property and good cafes and restaurants nearby. We were travelling through France on our way back to the UK but are sure to come back and spend some time here in the future. Such a pleasant change from hotel rooms.

If we had "what 3 words" location it would have helped us to find the entrance a bit quicker. I think that it would be ///bands.axed.mainland but might need checking in case I've got that wrong.

We loved it but it is split across a number of levels if folk have mobility issues. But it all adds to the charm, as far as we’re concerned.

Great apartment, shame about the steps

The apartment had been beautifully converted, had everything needed in it & was in a fantastic location. It is good value for money.

Steps, steps & more steps! I am able bodied, but narrowly avoided falling several times during our 1 night stay. The steps are at different places & angles throughout the apartment, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are only reached by stairs.

Perfect place for visiting Bourges for a couple of days.

We stayed 2 days in this amazing place! Two things stand out: - The location. It is basically in front of the cathedral (well, via a 3 min walk), very central and what a beautiful old town - The architecture / design: it is very full of character, with a very spacious ceiling, old beams, a mezzanine, lots of stairs, etc.. it also has a neat little terrace for enjoying some fresh air. we couldn't park in front, but in the hotel de ville parking (paid), that was 5-10 min walk. It is really perfect for exploring the old town for a couple of days.

A few things to note: - There are 6 beds but only 2 of them are separate from the living room (2 are on the couch, and another 2 are on an open mezzanine which is the same room as the living room). - The beds on the mezzanine were creaking quite a lot. - The bathroom didn't have any ventilation and it was hard to remove humidity after showering.

emplacement super, au pied de la cathédrale . Logement très joli et fonctionnel (malgré le dégradé des niveaux qui n'est pas gênant du tout) . et jolie décoration de Noel faite avec goût. rien ne manquait !!!

devant les degrés en dessous de zéro à l'extérieur, le logement aurait supporté un peu plus de chaleur . mais devant la hauteur de la pièce de vie, il est en effet difficile d'avoir mieux. nous avons mis la grosse étole autour du cou et le tour était joué!

Petit appartement ravissant en plein centre ancien de Bourges

L’emplacement parfait, au calme dans une impasse du centre piéton. Et à deux pas de tout. La décoration, très réussie. L'appartement est vraiment joli et raffiné. A côté de la mezzanine il y a même une salle de bains et des toilettes. Propreté parfaite.

La chambre en mezzanine est ouverte sur le salon mais ce n'est pas du tout un problème car elle est très confortable.

joli appartement mais pas adapté à des personnes à mobilité réduites: toutes les pièces ne sont pas au même niveau, des marches d'escalier partout. Il serait judicieux de le le signaler dans le descriptif. Une utilisation de la télévision trop compliquée pour nous. Une plaque à induction bloquée à 5: impossible de diminuer ou augmenter la puissance.

Excellent emplacement tout proche de la cathédrale, calme au fond d'une voie privée, petite maison trés charme sur plusieurs niveaux, bien décorée, avec terrasse et mezzanine. Tres bon état et trés propre .

Jolie maison portant bien son nom

Très bien placé, super aménagement bien fourni, chaleureux on a adoré très cocooning…

La non possibilité de laisser la voiture devant la maison alors qu’il y a l’emplacement. Les lits simples de la chambre du haut qui grincent vraiment trop alors que le matelas est bien !! La coupure électricité quand on a fait marcher le four et la plaque en même temps !! Et le manuel de la télé manquant du coup on n’a pas su la regarder !! Mais ça c’est vraiment pas grave !! Et l’odeur de renfermé à chaque fois qu’on rentre ..
