palazzo suite ducale

Great location and spacious room. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Location, close to the narrow alleys of Venice and St Marks Square, made this a great stop over in Venice. The room was very large and sofa provided to rest, most appreciated

Nothing really. One niggle, the bed wasn’t comfortable I’m afraid. The memory foam chosen meant neither of us slept well.

Great location, very spacious, friendly staff

Location was good. Quieter part of the city but still fairly central. Easy enough to find. Good communication before the stay so was able to figure out how to get from train station to the property without difficulty.

Not the cleanest place. While couched in "period" furnishings, it just seemed like not a lot of effort to upkeep (cracked LVP in the bathroom, weird uneven floors, threadbare furniture). While not exactly dirty, there was a trash bin that went unemptied by the front door the entire time we were there which was attracting rats (opened the door one evening to see one scurrying away from the trash). I also just think it is an Italy travel thing via private hosted rooms (same experience as elsewhere in Italy), but annoying that they ask for cash for "city tax" and don't just price that into the room charges up front.
