Charming Stone Apartment in the heart of Split

We good communication with the hosts prior to arrival and they met us at the property to hand over the keys. The accommodation is in a central location very close to the main old town but surprisingly it is very quiet with the windows closed. It is quite rustic as it is in a grade-listed building but it has nice atmosphere. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of spare towels and blankets.

For 3 people, it was quite cramped. There are a few little things which could be easily fixed and make the experience nicer. For example, the handle of the kitchen tap kept falling off, one of the hob dial covers was missing and there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang a towel and the shower was very small. It was also a shame that there was no clothes line to dry clothes in the summer. We also asked but never received a reply on how to turn off the light above the hob. The aircon in the living room was fantastic and it was also nice to have a fan in the bedroom, however it was not efficient enough to cool the bedroom when we stayed at the end of June so it was very hot. Also, just to be aware, as it is an old building, there is no lift and the apartment is on the third floor and the staircase is quite a narrow, spiral staircase.

In pieno centro storico, posizione comodissima, appartamento abbastanza grande e munito di tutti i confort, proprietario gentilissimo, ho dimenticato le cuffie del cellulare e ha provveduto a rispedirmele in Italia. Consigliatissimo

Heel Centraal geleden. Alles was op loopafstand. Restaurants, winkels, bussen, verschillende tours. In het appartement was alles aanwezig, voldoende beddegoed, bad linnen. Ook de keuken was goed voorzien.

Er was geen microwave ☺️ Het was op 3 hoog, dus we moesten telkens 6 trappen lopen 🙈☺️
