This is a hostel. Apparently used to be over a pub, but the pub is now out of business. This was a very low priced lodging for five of us... We all stayed in one room with one queen bed and four bunk beds. Felt like the room was pretty clean. Queen bed was quite comfy. Location was convenient, nice little cafe just down the way.
Showers were very weak but the bathrooms seemed clean. Definitely no homey touches here, but being a hostel I was not really expecting that. Not sure how comfortable I'd have been with my two ladies there alone, but with me and two sons, we felt safe enough.

Beautiful building cleverly converted. Very clean. Solid beds that don’t make noise when someone turns over!
Extra outlets would be great but know it’s a challenge in an 1800s building. Very unfair reviews. People forget they are getting a good value and to acknowledge individuals operate these businesses.
Guests should know there are no public spaces for cooking and gathering but many choices nearby.
