Onnos Estate by Thireon

This review comes late due to my travel schedule but nevertheless, better late than never.. The villa – Spacious, immaculate, tranquil, tastefully decorated, well maintained, relaxing and a homely feeling. The host – Attentive and communicative. Always available to answer whatever query we had. We went on a cruise which the host organized, and we really enjoyed it (except my partner got a bad sunburn but not the hosts fault). Favorite amenity – The jacuzzi. My partner and I were there September and it was quite hot to be around and about so daytime we mostly spent there. Without this jacuzzi, our stay wouldn’t be as great. There's also a shaded cabana/hammock to relax. Neighborhood – Tranquil and safe. Easily accessible to areas around. This villa is located at Oia which is a prime location. Highly recommended to hire a scooter to sight see and not a car. We also went to Fira which was about 30mins ride but worthwhile. We booked a scooter through Nikos. Villa Dionysus Escape comes highly recommended. Don’t hesitate to book!

No exterior privacy. It's situated a little bit in a valley so you have people passing by and watching you and one time a drunk couple verbally fighting. But we were there just 3 nights so it wasn't very bothersome. We still enjoyed our stay.

The property was perfect for our group of seven. very nice style, comfortable and plenty of outdoor spaces. The location is magnificent-a fairly easy walk to Finikia for coffee, groceries and excellent restaurants and maybe 35 minutes total to OÍA. We walked from the bottom of Ammoudi Bay (quite challenging climbing the steps) back to the house in time for a lovely dinner and wine tasting at the nearby winery, Domaine Sígalas. Nikos is an excellent host.

The villa is amazing, have nice rooms, great bathrooms, very spacious and it was perfect for our group. It is more, more beautiful in reality than photos.

Every thing about the villa is amazing 😍😍😍 We have travelled to many places around the world and I can say with confidence that this is the best vacation home we ever stayed in. İt is located in a quiet place and had impeccable sea and mountain views. Next to the village there is a donkey stone trail that leads to the traditional village of Finikia and if you keep walking you will get to the center of Oia. From Oia there is a trail that leads to Fira and it is overlooking the sea all the way. The house is designed like the old cave houses of Santorini yet very modernized. Three big rooms, three full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining and sitting room. The house is naturally lighted and aired. There is a big yard with different seating areas and a jacuzi at the back. Nikos was a very hospitable and helpful host. He answered all our questions and was always a call away.
