Highly recommended!

We spent one night at the Gemeente Huis. Pleasant, easy and fast check-in; the room was spacious and comfortable with its en-suite bathroom and a nice terrace. Breakfast was excellent. WiFi was strong. Free car park just across the road; that is an appreciated plus! All in all, a very good experience, pretty much in-line with our expectations.

A brilliant hotel tucked away in a little bit of Belgium calm.

A lovely small hotel, about a 30min walk (with child) along the water from Neuiwpoort. Quiet and calm with a small 'village green' outside complete with a playground. Breakfast was perfect, with an ample selection of cheeses, meats, fresh fruit and pastries. Plus, an option of cooked eggs as well.

Plastic/rubber mattress protector on the beds - too hot and sweaty.

A very nice stay in a warm, welcoming hotel - highly recommended if in the area.

Having stayed here one week before on our journey to the Netherlands, we knew what to expect on our journey back, and the hotel did not disappoint. We received another warm welcome from Gabor, had a lovely room (Room 2) with a nice sitting area in the garden outside and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was again very good (made by Gabor himself) and when my wife was suffering from a stomach problem after we had eaten out the night before, Gabor was quick to brew Camomile tea and bring it to our room. The village itself is very nice and quiet, which suited us beautifully.

Brilliant Hotel- This is the second time we have stayed there. can’t wait to book again.

The whole hotel was exceptional - The Host was first class ,could not to enough to accommodate us . Rooms were spotless and spacious , with optional well stocked mini bar and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. We can’t wait to plan our next trip to this Friendly establishment . Brilliant !!

Outstanding night in Belgium

Absolutely outstanding hotel. Beautiful rooms. Underfloor heating, garden, excellent TV package, amenities, shower was excellent. A cosy space. Breakfast was lovely. Very helpful owners and parking was so easy. Will definitely be coming back!!

small terrace, free parking in front of the property. Great nearby lake if you want to ditch your girlfriend the next morning (bring sufficient weight so the body will sink) 😄

Too bad Booking.com did not inform us diner on the room was possible. Nearby there is virtually nothing so I madeca diner reservation downtown before getting to the room, where the host asked if we desired in room dining 😓

Perfect hotel at a perfect location

Excellent location, quiet, free parking, very close to the river and the sea to do nature walks or running/cycling. Very nice, friendly owners, serving great breakfasts and dinners in the room. The hotel has only 7 rooms, each room has a private cozy terrace. The owners follow the Covid rules very well - the hotel/room is very clean. Overall, excellent stay. Thank you!

Rustige ligging op een paar km van Nieuwpoort. Zeer mooie gezellige kamer op het gelijkvloers met terras en toegang tot de tuin. Smaakvol en kraaknet. Prima ontbijt met vers fruit, verse koffiekoeken en een eitje naar keuze.

Hier word je hartelijk ontvangen en voel je je thuis.

De eigenaar Gabor is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij staat altijd voor je klaar. Het ontbijt is verzorgd en gevarieerd. De kamers zijn ruim en erg netjes. Het is er zeer rustig. Ideale omgeving om te fietsen. We komen zeker nog terug.

Petit déjeuner très qualitatif. Chambre très spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée. Terrasse attenante à la chambre avec accès direct au jardin. Gérant aux petits soins.

Het was een leuke 2daagse, we gaan zeker terug voor enkele dagen.

Ligging hotel is goede uitvalbasis voor fietstochten. Zeer rustig gelegen. Ontbijt redelijk ok.
