Cold in February

Close to the beach, everything we needed, indoor and outdoor plays pace for kids.

The room was very cold- even with the heating on full blast, luckily the bedding was warm. Matrases were a bit uncomfortable.

There is no free parking. There wasn't even soap in the toilet. You had to make the sheets yourself.

Rooms are very small, not suitable for little children. No facilities with the walking distance. Pretty far from the sea (15 min for a family with little children is too far)

Nice location. Will be considering to take it next time for a short stay in Middelkerke and Westende.

-Not far from the beach (5 min walk). -Well equipped kitchen. -Restaurants and bakery near by. -Very responsive staff. -Table soccer free to use in the entrance hall.

-Only one thing. A bit confused about how to find our room since it was on the first floor. While entering the building there is only information about room numbers and directions to take for the ground floor rooms only. There is no clear indication which way to take for the rooms of first and second floors.

Bad soundproofing - 1 bedroom was in the entrance and not a room and 3 bunk beds just after in the corridor in front of the bathroom

Place was clean, well located, close to the beach, but the beds were not comfortable. We were a family of 4 and luckily didn’t have to use the third level bunk bed - it’s extremely narrow.

The location. That’s all what I liked about it. It’s near the beach and the eateries.

That’s crazy how small it was. The beds were tiny and my kids would knock on the walls each time they moved a bit during their sleep. Especially, on the third bed in the upper part. There’s a door that separates the space where the kids sleep and the space where the parts sleep but the door doesn’t close. Expect 0 level of intimacy.

Good overnight stopover

As a family of 5, we really appreciate it when hotels have rooms for 5, which avoids us having to book 2 separate rooms. It was clean and we had no problems accessing the room despite arriving after the time when the remote reception team are reachable. We only stayed overnight as a break on a long journey, and the room was suitable for this. It was great having a kitchen, with fridge, freezer, ability to make coffee... We were able to park just outside the property for free.

It was fine for a single night, but if we were staying longer, we would want a bit more space, especially as our children are older (the toilet is in the small bathroom, so it takes a while for everyone to get ready in the morning. The children's beds are opposite the bathroom, with only a small passage between them, which gets clogged up easily. There is no privacy when dressing unless you take turns in the bathroom). We could hear the sea, but we couldn't see it.

missing some storage space in the bathroom, maybe a coat hanger and lighting in the kitchen, and maybe a drying rack for wet towels …. but these are not things that would prevent me from coming back….

Great location in a quiet and clean surrounding

The apartment was really clean and well stocked. The location is great, just a short walk from the local bakery and bike hire, which is great for exploring the coast. The check in process was really clear and easy for access to the property. Really old location and would recommend for sure.

Perhaps too much furniture… had to stack chairs and the coffee tables to open up the sofa bed and leave out. I get that they are providing daytime furniture but it was a bit of an IKEA Tetris game making everything fit!

Nice a artment close to the seaside.

The apartment was close to the sea,really clean and in very good condition, big enough even for a family with three children. Parking was easy, the surroundings were very safe and quiet. I'd definitely recommend this place.

The bedroom was a little small but the bed was comfortable. Generally, everything was fine.

Westende Beach

Location, playground, terrace. They have lots of plates, wine glasses and cups in the cupboard. The tripled bed is for kids, not for adults.

No soap, shampoo, no cleaning utensils for kitchen such as gel. The mattresses are very bad. Towels are not included. There is no oil or sugar or salt in the kitchen. Also no tea bags or coffee, though there is a coffee machine and a kettle. So we had to go to the nearest shop and buy it.

Room well furnished, providing a decent comfort. Spotless kitchen, fully equipped, very practical. Bonus, the room had also a separate, good size freezer, which I honestly did not expect to find. Support staff very kind and responsive.
