Loved having milk in the fridge, and sugar, salt etc. Available.
GORGEOUS HEBRIDEAN GOODIES to welcome me. A lovely surprise and a lovely treat. And being informative - the Islands offer Seaweed specialities.

The cabin is small but adorable with everything you need. It even survived Storm Floris and for that alone it deserves 10 out of 10 😂
I had a small issue with one of the cooking hobs but as soon as I raised this, Charlie brought over a spare to help.
There was a very kind man feeding the animals after the storm who let my son help feed the donkeys. I didn't catch his name but he was really lovely and my son was over the moon.

Location was good for Stornoway. Well designed accommodation and very warm. Hosts are friendly. Nice views and on its own, so nobody next door.
One of the gas rings was difficult to light. I tried for up to two minutes before it would stay on. The next time I used it, I didn’t get it to stay on. This limits what you can cook. I would have liked an electric kettle but that’s not a big deal really.
